  4. There are many countries in the world where women can easily walk in the street and feel safe. I wonder where you live.....?

  5. I almost made that mistake but the 'officials' kept their borders closed for ever during the pandemics, with no way to get there unless you were a permanent resident of Latvia or citizen. Then, unless you work there, they don't let you open a bank account (even if you bring them your previous salary receipts and so on...) , annoying to have to pay your bills in cash at the post office, and you won't have access to their health system that is under funded by the way, and they do not offer private insurance unless you work there and are part of a group. So you have to speak either Russian or Latvian, English is not enough to hold a job there. Salaries are very low. It's dark at 3:30 pm in the winter. In conclusion, they have a very long way to go before they get on the level of European standards. Finally, many offices will just tell you 'we don't deal with foreigners...' even if you are a European citizen. Lol. Just be ready and persistent if you really want to.
