Yes very sad indeed for the government to have created this stupid myth pretending that foreign buyers were buying everything and speculating when in fact, it was just canadian investors/collectors that are speculating as usual. Foreign buyers were so few and just holding on to their small condo as a second residence. That's why now the market is kind of going down with no interest. People are turning to friendlier, cheaper countries with a much higher quality of life. Canada is doomed to fail with all those expensive prices for basic products. So ridiculous. Smarter people have already left, enjoying their money outside of Canada where money goes a long way. Sad to see the government become so xenophobic
