So, it turns out that UK variants isn’t more infectious. It was never more than the flavor of the month. Lot of pants wetting for nothing.

@christopherrobinson7541 I know you’re a big fan of the UK variant. In truth, it is nothing special. What you are experiencing is a wave of Covid virus. People let their guard down and the virus surged back. There is nothing special about the UK variant. There is a good number of people who are immune from previous infection or vaccination in the united states at this time. A lot of people have given up trying to fight the virus and we may have an uptick in the next couple of weeks. After that, I think that with the coming of better weather and our level of immunization that we should be on a good path. I think it’s a matter of, if you make a crappy vaccine then you can make up a special variation to explain things.
