@donisenberg3032 Im afraid that Scott showed alot of pettiness in this case. I mean Gonzalo like to play himself up alot, but from being a Ukrainian stripper benefactor playing Don Juan, to being an SBU agent is a long jump imo.

I mean the guy is who he is, I have no doubts that he is a narcissistic bullshitter, too proud to admit that he got fleeced by a Ukrainian mail bride type of girl. Some people like to listen his ''advises'' ok whatever.. But claiming that he is an SBU agent is a huge logical jump. The real answer to your question is ''American citizenship''. As much as the American government doesnt give a fig about Lira, they cant allow a Borat-Land to straight forward murder one of their own, as a matter of principle. Thats why he was left alone. I mean after his first arrest, Lira reduced his internet presence by 80%. The Ukrainian government hate his guts but they had to let him go. I bet that the American ambassador said something like ''you can scare him abit if you want, but you cant really hurt him''.
