They were Albanians from Atlantis

The outcome of the battle of Hydaspes was crystal clear. Alexander won though with severe casualties and his already tired troops once realizing the magnitude of a campaign in India revolted and demanded to go home. King Porus remained as a ruler of a client kingdom. I really dont understand why the Indian state gets so butthurt about this incident to the point of denying the outcome without providing ANY solid sources. The Kalash people are probably indigenous people caught up in a romantic background pressed upon them. Many of them seem to embrace it and it seems that they did had some oral traditions related to the passing by, Greek troops. Now the extend of a real tradition and a manufactured one due to their need for attention and financial help, I cant know. After all they are surrounded by foundamentalistic shitholes, for them to assume a ''glorious identity'' that resonates with the west might be a way to survive. Personaly I believe that they are indigenous people, it wouldnt be that far fetched for some of them to have a small percentage of Greek dna, but the researches until now do not support it. On a last note. Its mentioned (not by you) that Greeks try to highjack the Kalash people. Well... no. Actually there is absolutely no need to claim an obscure little group in the middle of nowhere. On the contrary it creates troubles and obligations that the Greek state is not willing to take on. The whole thing has a romantic charm and some private citizens might feel moved but thats the end of it. By chance it happened that a family friend married a Kalash woman, I dont know how they met he was a captain in the merchant navy. They moved to Greece and she continued to practice her religion which had some common elements with the ancient Greek one. Now was it a cultural remnant of the hellenistic era of Asia? Was it just a version of the proto-indoeuropean common cults? Im not in the place to say.
