  2. 07:30 Ah no, Russia cannot "take away the territories gifted to Poland" because those are the WESTERN territories that belonged to Germany (leading to more bloodshed, this time Polish-on-German). Although there was also a part of Belarus that was assigned to Poland, Stalin permanently allocated the pre-Ribbentrop-accord EASTERN part for Belarus: "Poland is moved west!" (this happened in spite of whatever Rossevelt promised the Polish voters at home). The whole back and forth is complex enough that there is a Wikipedia page called "Territorial Evolution of Poland".
