  1. 33:00 Android is indeed "open source" under Apache and apparently some parts are GNU. HarmonyOS is homegrown by Huawei and is "closed" (mostly?) ... so is it secure? Who knows, apparently Huawei router software was less than well-written when the UK inspected it about 10 years ago, though "backdoors" were not found. Maybe those are times past. Wikipedia says "written in C, C++" (languages of perennial inedquacy) and "ArkTS (a superset of TypeScript)" where TypeScript is of course a very necessary improvement on the now 30-year-long practical joke that the JavaScript ecosystem is (if you want to use Scheme, use Scheme, Netscape!).
