  1. "This is quite incredible". A lot of things have been quite incredible since 2019 or maybe earlier, really. Did you notice how there is as much disinterest in the question of "why are people dying" as in "who blew up NS1/NS2, condemning Germany to de-industrialization"?

BBC: "Zero-Covid: How Xi's flagship policy is spoiling his party" I have learned to not trust the BBC on anything Russia or China related, it's warmed-over proper gander, and gross too (witness their hue & cry about "Hu Jintao being removed from the Party congress" when he was obviously signalling being unwell, not unexpected at 79 and possibly suffering from Parkinsons). Does anyone have the real story on this? Someone from China, maybe.
