  1. This is useless. "The West" lives in an everlasting present, where they are always the ones who are right and righteous and need to save the world right now, the bad guys are whoever is currently being labeled "worse than Hitler", the rest needs to be talked to like errant children (even inside their so-called "Democracies") and history begins yesterday (as of now, history begins with "Putin's invasion" of February, not in 2014 with Maidan or even much earlier). Evil actions are either "honest mistakes" or immediately forgotten, and then The West doubles down on whatever stupidity it has fixated on now. And it's getting worse and worse.
