@damjanm3585 As I said elsewhere, this reminds me of the short story "The Liberation of Earth" by the great William Tenn, which was basically about Korea, but is sort of applicable here too. There is some serious liberation going on.

Still, Wikipedia reports extreme enthusiasm: "By June 2024, Helmut Rauch, the CEO of Diehl Defense announced that 240 kills were achieved by the IRIS-T SLM and SLS in Ukraine with an almost 100% success rate." Sure, sure.
