  1. ​ @abrakadavra3193  You might have missed this, Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. The Constitution prohibits elections during times of war. If the invaders leave, there will be elections.

  2. ​ @MrZlocktar The capture of Berlin was a Soviet era tragedy. Hundreds of thousands of Red Army casualties, for a propaganda exercise. The Soviets wanted to take Berlin, so the Allies waited to the west, accepting a constant stream of surrendering soldiers and civilians , while they waited for the Red Army to arrive from the east. With no regard for human life, soldiers or civilians, Berlin was entered for a propaganda exercise. It is nothing to brag about, but is used in the narrative that the Soviets defeated their former German allies single handed.

  5.  @gdiwolverinemale4th  That is quite an amusing perspective. Ukraine has liberated 200 square kilometres since June and the hordes from the east are suffering horrendous losses, in futile attempts to regain the losses. The Invaders are losing and some have already arrived at The Hague.

  19.  @Princip666  Actually, most analysts say a normal nation would have cut their losses and left by now. They have less than 1 year of financial reserves left, their Soviet stockpiles are being depleted, there is a labour shortage, so there is not an infinite supply of cannon fodder.

To quote retired General Sir Richard Shirrif "They have fought this way for 300 years. And to paraphrase Douglas MacArthur, frontal attacks are the work of mediocre commanders.

  29. There is rumour that the strategy is to keep all the air defences around the Kerch Bridge and leave holes in the air defences elsewhere. If the bridge goes down, the air defences could be redeployed.

  37.  @aachoocrony5754  As I replied earlier, the Moskva is an analogy of the Russian military. The ship couldn't go to sea without a tug, was not seaworthy and most the combat systems did not work. I think even the Russians admitted as much. Did that dumb it down enough for you ?

  38.  @aachoocrony5754  I have seen videos where Ukrainian soldiers talk about the superior quality of western equipment and most importantly, the survivability of western equipment. Armoured vehicles have been hit, but the crews survive.

  44.  @Damn6real  Cool story. I haven't seen one Ukrainian say that. I have seen plenty who love the western equipment. Much of the artillery has greater range and is more accurate and therefore it is excellent for counter battery fire. The love their HIMARS. They can actually shoot something down with western SAMS and Gepards. The armoured guys say even the lightly armoured M113 is more surivable than the Soviet armour, which they call "tin cans". They love their Leopards, they are survivable, have superior targeting and optics and only need a couple of hits for a Russian turret toss. I would love to see your "sources".😀 Thanks for contributing, participation is important.

  50. Sure you are. Fun fact. Ukraine is planning to mobilise 1 million soldiers. Analysts suggest the Orcs would need to mobilise 5 million. Currently they can't arm, equip and supply 500 thousand. That is why they want peace talks. The very special military operation is going very badly for them.
