  4. I’m 6’8” and about 300 lbs, relatively lean. Been lifting since I was 19 and now 36. Yeah, the female attraction gets insane at times, some women tend to disrespect my wife in front of me and get ultra flirty with me. I don’t feed into it, and they are just jealous. I remind my wife that they act that way out of jealousy and she doesn’t have to worry about me feeding into it. I could’ve easily smashed 100+ women in my 20s but my confidence came in strong after I turned 32. I work out at a college out of convenience, the girls still act the same way to this day. Always wanted a partner, always tried to get as much life out of my relationships. My first long term relationship started days before I turned 18, it lasted almost 3 years. I still communicate with her to this very day. One day she said to my wife 'all men cheat' then she suddenly remembered that there was just one person on this earth that she should not say that in front of as her cheating was the demise of our relationship. It would seem that what goes around does actually come around but we don't often get to hear about it.

My bf cries often and gets emotional about a lot of things. He's got a seal plushy on his night stand that I bought him to make him feel loved. He experienced trauma and depression. He's always there for his family and friends and is his good at his job. He makes me feel save and I want him to feel safe around me.   31. If I can make a suggestion to anyone reading this...seriously consider attending a Trade School!! I'm a traveling Journeyman Welder also a union member. I take contracts & travel all over the country (USA). I make $65+ an hour, I have a matching 401, a pension that I can max out after 20yrs (I'm 35 with 6yrs in) & government level benefits (health, eye, dental & life). I work on my schedule, roughly 10 months out of the year & go on vacation the other 2. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner, like many others I went to college after high school. My degree has benefited me but in comparison it doesn't come close to my earning potential as a welder!!

  33. It is not Boomer greed that has caused younger generations to be locked out of the market. I know a few younger people i’m their 20’s that bought homes while making less than $50k/yr. Here is the major problem with younger people:They are spoiled brats. They are unwilling to buy a small house that needs a lot of work. They have to have it all NOW; granite countertops, 2500 sq ft, very nice neighborhood, and all turnkey. Now add the fact that these kids are carrying stupid amounts of debt, they simply do no qualify financially for their 2500 sf ft turnkey house. If they would get out of debt, they would be able to qualify for a loan for a small house and start their journey. I am Gen X and own 4 properties. I make rental income from these youngsters because they are so backwards thinking, they have resigned themselves to not give up a single luxury. My two daughters live in nicer homes than I do, but they rent. Maybe they think they will buy their house one day when their old man passes, they will be sorely disappointed when they read my will and trusts. I can’t stand theyounger generations, and I do blame their Boomer and Gen X parents for spoiling them, but that doesn’t mean I have to like their kids. There are exceptions, but most of the youngsters I deal with are a lost cause.

  48. I'm constantly amazed by how many men and women are utterly oblivious to how much work "traditional housewives" did. It wasn't as hard a most men's work, but it was no joke, and it never ended. They cooked everything from scratch. We load up a dishwasher. They carried buckets of water from outdoor well pumps, and heated it over a fire before they could even start washing. Laundry was a two day job - boil it in the yard, rinse it, dip it in starch, hang it out to dry. Day 2 was for ironing. They cleaned with brooms, rags, more heavy buckets of water, and homemade lye soap. They worked their tails off and they were grateful that they didn't have to do the work their men were doing. Modern women don't want to be traditional housewives, they want to be The Nobility, with armies of electronic and human servants. Then modern men hear the word "traditional," and sign themselves up to be one of said servants, because they don't know the difference.

Had I known it would be viral, I’d put a bit more details. 1. I am not going to be a sound engineer… ever. I wear hearing aids, and I’m ok with it. 2. Going to China was not spontaneous, I studied after work to get my CELTA certificate to be able to teach there. 3. My degree didn’t end up being completely useless, as a degree is required to get a work visa in China (any degree). 4. I returned to England to raise my child in the countryside and we don’t regret it. 5. I am always working on bettering myself. The message is be at peace with yourself, but don’t give up. Always look up, always dream, stay excited about life. 6. I have hustled to get stepped up in the warehouse and now hustling to get stepped up again. 7. YouTube is a blessing. 8.
