Nick Carver, Matt Day and Willem Verbeek in the same video, what more can you ask for?

"Why do you run?" "Because I'm good at it." Noice

Thank you for your service from an orthodox Jew! Everyone should be able to serve no matter their religion!

I'm disgusted and NOT surprised. This has always happened to black families. Hell, the video alone should have more views but it doesn't. It's because any time you mention any black hardship or conflict, no one watches. Why hasn't there been more outreach to help them?! We all know why and as a country, we are disgusting and powered by hate.

Who else is watching this in 1995?

I want Grandma’s ravioli. ♥️

Thank you for this touching, thoughtful documentary. It's a very important topic.

It's no accident that banks are putting black farmers out of business. It's Jim Crow plain and simple. The white farmers are obviously treated different. This institutional discrimination is criminal. You should sue for millions, not thousands. How do they get away with this crap. Amazing!

Every citizen of the world needs to watch this!!! Specially world leaders!!!

I love this. The topic, the visuals and editing are wonderful!

I quit wearing makeup when I graduated from high school many years ago. Fortunately, the hippie movement encouraged it. It occurred to me that at one point in my life a man/huband/lover might have to see me without makeup, and I just felt that it was all a lie about myself and who I really was.
64
Great video!! thanks so much for showing our community some love!
64
I hope they don't give up, the harder you're pushed the harder you have to push back....
59
Interesting story thank you for this insight into a new window
56
so entertaining! "hi my name is yohans mom" hahaha
56
Seeing an almost 6 minute ad on YouTube I thought "how could they ever possibly think anyone would sit through this?" Well they were able to get my attention in 5 seconds and held it so well! Great job!
56
Esta gente es increíblemente admirable, muchos besos y abrazos para toda esa raza pura.

Why does this only have 4.9k views? If only more people could see this and understand what immigrants have to go through, and have compassion and empathy. This video made me cry because I relate it to my parents who came to the US because of the civil war in El Salvador. I wish Wuilly the best of luck and I hope more people hear his story

Well, the call to religious life often seems to come out of left field. So it makes perfect sense to be part of this series. Overall the video is well-researched, upbeat, honest, and captures the joys and challenges of religious life. Well done!

I work in a male-dominated position and carrying a purse around would not be functional on a jobsite. Also, women's clothes do not hold up well (including blue jeans). I was very surprised when I Iswitched to wearing men's work trousers. Shock! They actually had functional pockets (bigger) whereby I could haul things and do my job far better and faster. The thing I do not like about them is that due to the cut, they make me look dumpy since they are cut for a male body (larger waist which I've sewn in pleats to bring in the waist), far longer zipper which as a woman I don't need, and not cut for feminine curves (waist-to-hips ratio). Men's clothes move and allow you to bend in all kinds of ways compared to women's clothes. Women really need (1) cloth that will hold up to the stresses of work (not everyone works in an office setting), and (2) cuts to clothes (including larger pockets) whereby we can go about our business and get a job done.

Let's just say this story didn't turn out like we thought it was going to.
45
The ad really hooked me.
45
yohan's mother is so adorable! and so was the dress she made!

institutionalized discrimination/racism... just sad. Please, NBC, keep reporting about these topics! The more people see your documentaries, more will hopefully become highly aware and stand up for what is right which is "equal rights and opportunities for everybody"!!! I hope those up there on their high horses will be brought to fall and suffer harshly!!!

This was beautifully shot. It’s a practice that’s not well known and I myself only learned about it recently. Thanks for showing the bravery of these little girls.
42
This is probably the first ad I’ve watched voluntarily lol

We must give back our love and care for our parents. Treasure every single moments with them and always make time for them.

One of his students btw. Loved him to pieces! Best teacher ever!

Another excellent video. This channel reminds of of Vice before they started pandering to the Buzzfeed crowd.
38
I sleep with the fan on and the door closed ALL the time. Trust me, its great. Love the video, introduction caught my attention on the ad and I was instantly hooked. Keep it up.
37
This channel is one of the few YouTube ads i dont regret clicking on
36
BLESS THIS MAN!!!
35
I really like this new channel. Very informative. I’m learning things I have never even thought about. Thanks for making us aware! After watching this, I am mad af. This guy has worked his entire life! No one has or had the right to do things differently because he is African American. Why does race continue to be a problem in this country? People are people. No one should ever be treated differently because of race. I’m sick of this shit.

When he started talking about school being a safe place for some students that hit hard. I remember when I was living back home and how I always wanted to go to school just to get out of the house. Now I live on my own in a different country and I love going to school still or staying at home.

As a Korean, I have never thought that this myth will be covered by an American channel and now I'm genuinely surprised and pleased by all these reactions😆 This is the content that I never knew I needed this much

The HAM operators in Hawaii are grateful for Sky and, Jacob and Arnee for coming to share our HAM story...great job!

My mom actually complained about this very thing earlier today :P. She was super annoyed at her new job uniform only having fake pockets, both the vest AND the skirt. There was only a little plastic ring on the waist of the skirt to hook your keys onto, but no actual pocket to store the keys in! Luckily they’ve got the option of wearing pants instead (that has actual, sizable pockets on them), but I totally agree with her that she shouldn’t have to choose pants for practical reasons when it’s scorching hot outside. But it seems their women uniforms are only meant to look good, not be practical...
25
thx for spreading the information! you just saved some peoples lives.
24
Tracey is an amazing human being. I feel lucky to have met her.
23
As always, you don't disappoint. I'm a trans male and have been using male jeans and pants for some time and I'm amazed at how big my pockets are, I can put a TABLET on one of them! 2 cellphones!! While my sister's is non existent or fake... There's very few that have pockets and most are for older women like my mom.
23
Yohan's mom is my spirit animal
23
I saw this in as an ad and I really liked it
22
I don’t think it is sexist. We live in an America where now women have the opportunity to do whatever they would like to do with their lives with nothing like sexist laws stopping them. Wearing makeup is a choice you can make. I choose not to. If you choose to that is fine as well. If you feel that right now you are forced to wear makeup to be successful, you aren’t! You have plenty of opportunity! Get out there and do something great with your life <3
21
I love this , this is America!!! Good job Maysaa!!
21
This is the first ad I have ever clicked on and enjoyed. I completely abandoned the video I was originally going to watch lol
21
A while back, I was angry at my gal for taking so long in the bathroom. So her answer was to give me a couple of "lessons" on eye makeup. mmmm, ok I'm always game for anything. About after the third time I poked myself in the eye I said enough of this! After that I told her she is beautiful no matter eye make up or not!!!! So there you go guys, if you think it's so simple to look pretty, give it a shot, hahahahaah...
20
You people do not let me down
20
I was listening to asmr when this ad shows up and it was the thing I needed because my parents didn’t understand why I listened to it. Thanks for the explanation!

Jacob Soboroff and Rebecca you guys have done our hobby and service proud. This video is remarkable and remarkably positive. Most of the time, we are made out in either a negative light or a ignorant (on the part of the production)light. Thank you for this and I will be sharing the daylights out of it.
