  1. I'm reminded of that early scene in Terminator 2 where John Connor is trapped in a hallway between two men with guns. Even though one of them was a good guy with a gun, John had no reason to think that until said good guy shouted "Get down!", then shielded him with his own body. And that's a relatively cut-and-dry case.
