@lidiane6994 You should see dark brandon in action on the senate with Scott Ritter... He has always been a sycophant to the powerful and a shitter on collectors of facts. He has never had any facility for evaluating things for himself.. He threatened the nord stream two...
1
@trekpac2 I would argue that Trump and economic sanctions are going a long way toward ending dollar hegemony... When shaping the argument that the facts on the ground in a hot war are not well correlated with america's support for such a war I did forget about victories in Libya, Panama and Yugoslavia.... Perhaps a better collation is between commitment to a military conflict and supporting it, not the results on the ground.. A more interesting analysis is of the results US hegemony in terms of supporting international monopolistic cartels and the dollar correlated with US military action and sanctions. I am of the opinion that those actions in the long run erode the interests of keeping the dollar hegemon and supporting US hegemonic cartels.
1
@hitovaawomi8963 The Ukraine war was pushed by the west to isolate europe for US monopolistic cartels from russia AND china. The war was designed to push an economic agenda... It is not that the economic agenda was a result of the war. The economic agenda came first.
1
@TrippyVerse The EU, world bank, IMF were all made to limit what europe can do for it's self and make it dependant on the US... If they want to do anything long term they need to develop their own institutions...
1
If energy is cut off and there is a huge recession in europe, immigration is toast.
1
@Andrew-rc3vh Adam Smith, known as the father of capitalism, started with land reform from the landed aristocracy... The reagan revolution is also a land distrbution project from the industrialists and home owners to the oligarchs... Obummer was it's ulitmate champion.
1
@Andrew-rc3vh Perahps replacing the old soviet union in the way that production is centeralized into monopoolies that can charge what ever they want.... Think Meat packers and pharma.... ... But it is centralized in the way that the old roman empires were centralized in the hands of the merchants and oligarchs.... Our central planners are walstreet which is effective in creating debt deflation all around the world.... It is definately connected with the Ukraine thing: sanctions aginst russia and china... Marxist captialism is better than feudal deindustralization, also known as neoliberalism.... What is in a name? It is the descriptive and predictive capacity of the wisdom of what is known as 'clasical economics' that counts.
1
@Andrew-rc3vh I am reading copious amounts of Michael Hudson.... Listening to Aaron Mate, Mat Tiebi[sp]... A pundent that I think is particularly fun is Garland Nixon....
1
@Andrew-rc3vh So you have to pay cute girls to talk like that?
1
@Andrew-rc3vh I was thinking I like them cute and dumb.
1
@faharoon357 In Iraq it was 'shock and awe' because they had weapons of mass destruction.... Millions of people die over crap like that.
1
I got the impression that the perscribed reaction to the virus [lockdowns...] was cover for a lagging ecnomy.... 'Think they tin foil at Wendies?
1
I get the impression everyone will eventually carry the virus for a time.
1
@attilamarics3374 There is proof that profit taking is driving 80% of price increases.... Facts are supposed to support theory.... Your statements states that theory disproves facts. Neo-classical economics supports the neoliberalism leading to austerity and the destruction of production.
1
@attilamarics3374 Monopolies don't answer to the laws of supply and demand... And they are driving 80% of the increase in prices. Neoclasical economics has quip that counters observed phenomena with counterintuitive religious ideals
1
@Aint_no_senators_son Agreed.... But not having enough can make you fat when there is food about.
1
@RatieM64 I suppose that there are provinces in africa where what is beautiful there would be considered fat somewhere else. There is no one who knows all that much about africa.... Even africans.
1
@yukhym12 While less food or temporary hunger targets fat first.... In the long run it will target muscles.... If it gets severe it decreases everything.. When circumstances change it causes obesity.. I think I am hunger tolerant.... Also addiction tolerant... Rather skinny I recently gained some upper body weight..
1
@celticgold4028 Agreed that there are very few in the US that have gone to skin and bones... I have an acquaintance who did due to circumstances beyond his control.... Those who have to point to historical happenings to try and get others to understand what starvation is haven't even been hungry... "Americans should starve to death" Ha Ha.... Not funny...
1
World peace through superior fire power.

@Octopussy1999 I have no clue... Why would european politicians destroy europe for the sake of the empire? I have been following hopeful nationalistics in the americas... The standouts are Venezuela, Bolivia and cuba.. There is another what is known as 'pink tide' in the americas where those nationalistic tendencies are growing.... The US says "We will manage your resources or you will die" some of the nation states that are resisting that are better off. I didn't realize what kind of banana republics europeans were until a few months ago... I have a book coming today that I think can answer some of my queries "The destiny of civilization' by Michael Hudson... I am hoping that it is not an emotionally exhausting read.
1
@Octopussy1999 So you be saying that if Italy tries to keep it's industry and economy together, and there-by out compete the rest of europe, Nato would start bombing it?
1
World bank don't make loans for those projects and if you do land reform independently they send in the jackals.. Land reform was the starting point of capitalism but now it is thought of as dictator doing socialism.
1
@dilligafwoftam985 As an american I have mixed feelings about that... Americans didn't profit, very few did, from this economic war... If they made ameica pay... What would they pay in? US dollars?
1
"Do you think stealing oil on the high seas reeks of hypocrisy?"
1
The republicans are the party of world piece.
1
@thedolphin5428 My meantor in understanding these things is Michael Hudson... I am also listening to Yanis Varoufakis.... What is disadvantaging the west is it's definition of prosperity as the stock market and asset values as apposed to increased industrial oiutput and quality of life... A dynamic that is simmilar to feudal-impiral europe which was unstable. Hudson contrasts that with the east whcin is industrializing with the west which is deindustrializing... He says the conflict is between systems with expanding industrial policies and those with deindustrialzing policies.
1
Most of these statements seem reasonable but the US or the EU are not sending people into the cannon fader of the Ukraine war...
1
@JasvinderSingh-wu5lx Not... Intelligence by Natasha and Boris Badinov says that the marines will be covered by Moos and Squirrel. You can look that up...
1
These generals have no idea what the war is about.. The war is to justify sanctions.... What happens on the ground makes no difference right now... The generals are talking out of turn.
1
@andyhughes1776 The powers that be.... can create the money them selves..... It is not as if they have to pick it off the beach like shells or pick it off of trees like apples.... They put it in a computer and it exists by fiat.. What they seem to be concerned about is how to keep others in debt in dollars.... Russia quit playing that game along with china..... This means war and it doesn't matter how many Ukrainians die in the process.
1
Why is a settlement about what is happening on the ground?.. The war isn't about Ukraine at all. It is about the sanctions and as long as the US can convince the western world to sanction it's self because of the war, the war will continue.
1
@annebritraaen2237 I am trying to figure out why some in nato think the war is worth the sanctions.... Sometimes I think that they can't balance a ledger in a candy store... [they thought that they could crush russia] Other times I think that they have a plan of stealing all of industry of the europoeans and on shoring it to the US.. Just one thing you can be sure of... They think/thought the war is worth the sanctions... Why do you think they thought/think that way?
1
It was always about sanctions against the east.... Someone thinks this war is worth it to extend the sanctions. It has never been about whether or not ukraine or nato could win against russia.
1
@jamiebeecham7020 Biden, Obama... All the way to Reagan.... They are all puppits in the service of criminals and theives.
1
@charliecan9603 Gosh.. .If you saw the injuries of conscious. Perahps we should hold the decrepit ancient impiralistic system and those who steal from the rest of the world, in cluding the US, accontable.
1
@charliecan9603 To be sure I had very little to do with it. I don't thnk we should suffer as well. This time it is europe that will suffer more than the US but we have been suffering from neoliberal polices for a long time.
1
@ilovethisworld3059 The population of the US won for a time... Now we give up on capitalism or more spisifcally creating capitalism... Buggered the name 'free market' to mean that bankers get money from the fed to crank up speculation and land values, making themselves a genetic aristocracy.... Capitalism was founded so that we could produce more in industry free from the landed aristocracy... Now Free Market means that we have to give it back so that they can suck the life out of our economy... There is no question at all that americans in general benifited from the US wining world war two... It seems like it is a long time ago in a land far far away.
1
@ilovethisworld3059 The US won not signle handedly but won the economic war... You need to review your history and my comments... The US won.
1
@abdv9908 The US is going aganst the bible because they won't forgive bad debts... Jesus saved his most severe critisism for the money changers. It is the same money changers that have taken control of many demon epires ever since... All of them were destroyed.
1
@abdv9908 Yes... The USSR fucked up.... I am not really familliar with all the details but they opened the door the US bull who told them how to run their economy.... It was deadly.... I am in the US where it is difficult to understnad why our leaders are making the desisions they are making... An example where I scratch my head is the democratic party's insistance that President Trump was installed by Putin and anyone who dosen't agree with democratic party luminaries, along with the media, that has been captured by the demcoraic party is a russian asset... In other words; in order not to be a russian asset one has to verbally agree that trump was installed by putin.... I don' t understand who is winning from this conflict in Ukraine...
1
For those who doubt that the US won world war two... This discussion may shed some light on what happened... youtube.com/watch?v=vQSaKUM2h_k
1
@froodtube Russia failed to instintute a goverment that could grow into the twentieth century... They were defeated in 1990's and regressed into a kind of feudal vassle state of the US.... It was a lot quicker than the US's painful demize but nastier and their recovery was very quick. Welcome to the inevatable zombie apocolipse.
1
@armanicharles5336 World war two culminated in the US winning economically world wide...
1
@armanicharles5336 The US was the single winner of the secound world war... Everyone else lost, even the alies.... England gave up it's empire to the US and the dollar become hegimon after world war two... There were times in history when the US had a clear goal and achieved it to it's advantage.... We won.
1
@pietjepuk9408 Stick with russian disinformation... There is copious amounts of it and it's narratives are backed up by facts.
1
@etienne_laforet They had what they felt was no other way to end the slaughter of ethnic russians on theri border, despite international treaty, making argument in what is called interantional law, proposing alternatives to the invasion... The treaty, signed in '15 to end hostillites in the russian ethic are were not honored. Ukraine and the nato contcracted with tradtional nazis to build millatary infrastructure to threaten russia in the russian ethnic areas. The stated goal of this was to bring russia into a millatary conflict with the west and to extend sanctions against russia to CRUSH russia... Russia did everything it felt it could to end that occupation and extermination at their border absent an invasion and they promised an invasion if the occupation didn't end... So they invaded and have been in direct conflict with the west ever since.
1
@Mack2211 Some how the Ukrainians, French and the Germans are not in charge... They do need comedians.... I suggest Garland Nixon... Nixon '24
1
@tonyfernandes6978 I know the US is not subject to the international court.. Is russia?
1
@stevenmartin8828 I think the analogy is more like germany in world war two with it's counter part being russia... The scale is much smaller but there are a lot of similarities between the adminstrations... The war, and nato involvment has been going on since 2014.... IT is not a seriously sustained effort from the west... Russia has recovered from the 1990's US lead neoliberal austerity at lightning speed...
