By "letting illegals vote," I assume you're referring to Dan Crenshaw's motion that "allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States citizens." One Republican voted against the motion, and six Democrats voted in favor. But more importantly, voting against a motion reaffirming that illegal immigrants can’t vote isn't the same as actually allowing illegal immigrants to vote.

  2. Actually, since the Teapot Dome scandal, Congress has had the power to subpoena anyone's taxes. Of course, that wouldn't be a problem if Trump never talked about his taxes. If he didn't claim that not paying taxes made him smart or claim that he couldn't release his tax returns because he's under audit (which is a lie; nothing in the law prevents someone from releasing tax returns while under audit) or just generally kept his fucking mouth shut, no one would care.

(AMI) to make and/or accept (or causing Michael Cohen to accept) an illegal corporate contribution related to Karen McDougal. - Two instances of getting Cohen to make and/or accept illegal individual contributions related to Stormy Daniels and February 2015 online polling. - Two instances of Donald J. Trump for President LLC failing to report contributions from AMI and Cohen related to McDougal and Daniels. - Filing false reports with the Federal Election Commission (FEC). - Failing to disclose liability to Cohen for the Stormy Daniels payment on his 2017 public financial disclosure form. - Violating federal campaign finance law related to “hush money” payments, false statements, and cover-ups of reimbursement payments to Cohen made by the Trump Organization. Need I go on? Oh, and don't forget the dozen or so criminal investigations into Trump that are still ongoing.

And the Mueller report, if you cared enough to pay attention, said they had evidence of intent to obstruct and three instances that contained intent, nexus, and an obstructive act. He basically said "The only reason Trump isn't 1000% guilty of obstruction is because his aides didn't carry out his orders, but as is, there's not enough exculpatory evidence to exonerate Trump."

"Gave us quotes without context" Here's a quote from the Mueller report: “Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” Here's what Trump's Attorney General William Barr said in his summary: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” You wanna try that again?

If the Access Hollywood tape was perfectly innocent, why would Trump deny it was real? 4. It's true that Trump didn't lie to Congress directly. Buuuuuuut that's only because he refuses to testify before Congress. You might say it's because he doesn't want to say anything that might be misconstrued as incriminating, but that's the thing, though. If Trump has a clean record, why would he not want to take every possible opportunity to prove that instead of just antagonizing the Democrats, the press, and the special counsel? "Oh, but it's not his responsibility to prove his innocence," you might say. Maybe not, but as the son of an attorney, I can tell you that when someone is falsely accused, the first thing their lawyer will tell them is to KEEP THEIR FUCKING MOUTH SHUT. 3. Oh, I'm not just talking about his misquotes. Remember the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting last October? The victims' families asked Trump not to visit, but his reasoning for going anyway was that the New York Stock Exchange was open the day after 9/11. The NYSE was closed until the 17th. See, it's not just that he gets misquoted. That happens with every president. The issue is that when he does lie, and we have the full context, he's lying about things that are easily disproved after just a few seconds of research. 4. Attempted murder is still a jail-able offense. I know you have to prove intent, but the report said Trump has, in multiple instances, demonstrated intent to obstruct justice. The only reason Mueller didn't have enough evidence for a definitive conclusion was that, whether by choice or not, Trump's aides repeatedly failed to carry out his orders.
