  1. I remember late 80's early 90's in Europe: Terrorism from IRA in England, Terrorism from Pais Basco in Spain, and the War on (former) Yugoslavia. And, in my school, I was the only one who had ever flown on a plane or visited a neighbouring countries. Nowadays, to be fair we still have Terrorism (now from Middle East extremism) and the refugee crisis, BUT we can go anywhere in Europe and pay with the same money and speak in a common tongue, all my friends have traveled Europe and many work and live abroad... If that's not "progress" I don't know what is.

  3. Nice idea, why didn't you do that when you were in power. Even better, if the European citizens "voted" thet Greece, or Portugal, or any other country, should pay and/or be cut off... Would the people in this countries agree? And comply blindly? How would the be different from now? Hipocrasy, lack of responsability, lack of humility, lack of example, arrogance and greed by "elected" leaders... THAT'S the real problem.

"All is fair in love and war", so love IS war. There are a million guys out there to a few good fabulous women, so you have to fight for them. It's a law of nature and we see it everytime in the wild. It's the law of the jungle. And besides, I'm not going to take advice from a guy that looks like he has no sex whatsoever. :P

  34. This doesn't seem very accurate once you take into account the many diferent languages and dialects that are writen/spoken in the world. In one language two words might be close (sound the same and/or have the same meaning), while in other they may be worlds appart. I for one am not convinced by this idea.

  42. I think it his a pitty to lose ones language, for that it is like losing a part of ones culture or sense of self, but I think that what we get back is much more than what we lose. When the world all speaks the same language, has the same culture, the same education, and even the same currency, that's when we will stop fighting one another and will work together in for a comon good - we will be ONE WORLD. It's a "Star Trek" dream, I know, but so much is lost in translation... we have to change.

I'm not English or American, nor do I live in a english speaking country (and I actually have learned a bit of Mandarin a couple of years back), I'm Portuguese and I'm still of the opinion that we have to have a universal language that everyone learns all over the entire world - that is the only way we are going to understand each other. English (for historical reasons) is the most spread, but if it had been Mandarin (which I found Gramatically simple), or any other... so be it.

  44. I think he forgot to mention the lack of a magnetic field... I say we divert a ice meteor into it, at an angle (so it jumpstarts the inner core spin), blast the surface with seeds and watch it unfold. Altough, I believe the politics involve in regulating resources and land will most certainlly lead to conflic before this presented utopia actually happens.

  48. I remember when I twisted my ancle and busted my knee... the doctor never touch them, he just asked were it hurt and proscribed the medications. Later, I add to get physical therapy and massages to put everything wright.

  50. I see a conflict rising between hardware (us and mechanical machines) and software (programs and app) everyone of these as a price tag attach... In today's world, I don't think the economy is doing the right choices... I don't see the balanced combination of the two.
