@CrotalusKid Not a Mosin, a Swedish M96. If anyone can operate the original unaltered Mosin bolt 200 times in ten minutes, I have yet to see it.

@Immafraid same! I saw a really nice K31 in a local gun store when I was a broke kid and loved the look of it. By the time I had saved the nearly $200 they were asking, it was gone. Have only seen one other Swiss K31 since the early 1990's - at a semi-famous "military surplus shop that knew the value of what they had (overpriced it). The straight pull bolt action still fascinates me, so I'm sure I will find one, someday.

( 6:41 ) I have not ever understood why Sweden did not support Finland outright in the "Winter War" or the more desperate "Continuation War". Sweden has never shared any border with the Soviet Union (Russia) and they were not significant trade partners. While the Finns and Swedes tease each other, they have a long (if sometimes... "complex") history of trade and "friendship. If the Soviet Union had defeated Finland, the Swedes would be face to face with Soviet forces on a daily basis... Seems motivation enough to actually use Sweden's independent arms and armaments manufacturing capabilities to support Finland.
