Regarding human rights abuses in Chile, neither kissinger nor nixon cared one bit. One can see this by looking at the war of independence of Bangladesh, another situation in which they had influence. They supported Pakistan, despite its horrible human rights abuses and mass killings of people in Bangladesh.

They're way more objective than pretty much any other news source. Reminds me of America uncovered, but with more people and resources and quality
11
It's so arrogant and smug to believe one knows the best interests of others. People who don't even live here, talking like they KNOW what will happen, like they KNOW why people vote, their character, intentions.
9
Because some of us see the democrats as a greater threat, I mean it some of us see it that way
7
That wouldn't be the slam dunk you imagine
7
And tarnish that glory he did.
7
I mean, even if she's not able of articulating WHY or in what ways she dislikes kamala, that doesn't invalidate her feelings or intuitions. There can still be good reasons (from her perspective), and it's not helpful to call her stupid for it. It's better to try and understand her imo, assuming this is generally a good person, because if you truly understand her then you might be able to persuade her. Being condescending is a huge barrier for this, people feel it and quickly write you off.

@Dylan-zn1nf No part of his comment was anti-science. There's real issues with renewable technology, as it is currently we don't have the resources to shift to renewables completely, they should be part of the mix of course. Yeah he can express it better, but saying it's anti-science is taking the worst possible read of it. People use labels like 'anti-science' too easily, I bet mostly by those who don't even work in science, all to dismiss legitimate concerns from others.
6
I think the media is most responsible for her support. And you guys are getting more more biased too, given you are media. Maybe it's hard to resist it, I dunno, but as an example, just look at how you portray the back and forth on the mic during the debate. Your bias is obvious
6
He's just not prone to falling for media bs as much the VAST majority of people. You guys read a sensationalized headline with trump in the name and you immediately believe it without question. Chaz has good critical thinking even if I don't always agree with him
5
Gabbard, also many voters like me
5
@jimschachtschneider7741 I don't mean it's good in general, I mean it's a good way to get votes for trump. Whoever thought of that knew that people would tip huge amounts and advertise trump. Boom real votes and real support from all kinds of people
5
@meikgeik We are in two right now, kind of, under their watch. Under trump there was no new war. Say what you will about trump, but dems are not really much better in foreign policy
5
It feels like 2016 to me, people getting so confident
4
That joe biden compilation is brutal wow
4
Youtube censors too much regular content too, that's part of the issue. Media is the center of this
4
The RNC had the teamster leader for the first time, onlyfans model, etc
3
one orange braincell, but not cute lmao
3
@icey8475 That's not necessarily true. That's a bias, and it's fine to have it, but have some humility.
3
@tonywilson4713 'But American Libertarians demand the liberty to strip other people of their liberties.' Not true. You get your news from biased media and this is the result. Your other reply to the second commenter is more of that media conditioning. The divisiveness and blown up rhetoric is the problem, libertarians are not 'demanding to take others' liberties', that's just your typical msm bs
3
I think people wanted a change to the status quo. Of the two options that realistically would win, kamala was the choice of the status quo, and trump was the change candidate. People gambled on trump.
3
My biggest gripe is with Johnson's creationism. Nothing wrong with believing in God very strongly, but damn we also shouldn't discount real scientific advancements and knowledge with so much evidence
3
Interesting
3
I think it undermines a bit, because at the same time she is dodging interviews and unscripted events. A person who aims to be President, is unwilling to face the American people in an honest, non choreographed moment. It's unsettling, and yes it makes all the 'trailblazing glass ceiling' talk sound empty, dystopian even. It's all so hollow
3
He was talking about making her fight in the wars she advocates for... Straight up lies and quoting with zero context.
3
They showed how inauthentic they are, how empty the messaging is. It's not a left or right thing for most people...
3
I think the kamala campaign is good at winning the hearts of pundits like Chaz. The campaign is just memes and vibes, it's all based on who gets the most traction on twitter or reddit. Chaz keeps bringing up the last 'zinger' some intern got in, like really? It's just riding on the 'girl boss' vibes, if anything this is more erosion of society, people prefer loose and superficial vibes to everything else. It was just trump before, now it's both parties doing it.
3
Bring RFK on! In all likelihood the next President anyway
3
I think the agreement makes a whole lot of sense, it is a win win. The people of the small island have more opportunities, and the Australian gov gets to veto any security agreements China might want to set up there.
3
I mean, that applies to everyone lol. But yeah trump is not bright
3
She owes the people, but you guys don't care, you're shameless
2
They do scripted events dude
2
Every election both sides continue to accept less and less for their nominee. Democrats are no different, now they accept a person who only does rallies and avoids the press, and you all call it normal because all you care about is your team winning. You are no different than magas
2
Europe can do nothing with Greenland, they've had it for decades and have not invested in the island. This is literally what polls from Greenland say, people want more investment but it's just forgotten and too expensive for Europe. They can't stop Russia in their own continent, it's fantasy to think they can do it in Greenland
2
This show is turning into more msm from the US, which is so unfortunate, you guys were one of the only people treating this election with some semblance of impartiality, but I think that's gone
2
@ I observed clear bias in someone else and commented on it, nothing more. I wish people could think openly about all sides of a question and not rely on labels to judge others, that they could recognize their own bias and not say they just, throw opposing views into a garbage bin.
2
That's the media line, yeah. The same media that swore up and down that biden was a galaxy brain amazingly present leader. They spin anything they can to help democrats and defeat populism, so no he most likely did not and it's media bs. They take a little seed of truth then grow a watermelon of propaganda to feed libs.
2
@noglobo You justify your own side's lack of substance by pointing to others. You know, that's the real tragedy in our country. People content to accept less and less because 'look, the other side isn't any better'. We all lose in this stupid game
2
You still goin with the russia line? What???
2
lmao
2
Wow that tip campaign move is genius
2
@carlsciarra3936 Trump: 'She wanted to stay in Syria. She wanted to stay in Iraq. She's a radical warhawk. Let's give her a rifle' For those willing to read context and not just gaslight people. Look up the quote don't be sheep, theirtube is deleting any quoting of the context so I had to abridge it. Look up the full quote, don't let media talking heads (and gaslighting commentors) define reality for you.
2
@carlsciarra3936 I quoted the literal context, and the reply is more dishonest slop. It is there for honest people to see. Not you of course. Stinks of psyop
2
RFK
2
Glitch in the matrix, buckle up bois
2
That's exactly my thinking too. And now it backfired for him with zero visas being considered atm
2
@Squashed8Ball Speaking to regular people here, hearing RFK, and looking at the polls, suggests a different story I think. He has more favorability than Biden or Trump with voters under 45, and we're still a year away. People are sick of the two main candidates, and RFK is a reasonable person which is mischaracterized by the media incessantly. I think he'll be the first independent to win an election, barring Washington if he counts
2
That's probably good for you, you should seriously try I hope you make it
2
@Villapallenberg with what?
2
They won't learn. They're doubling down hard right now
