  1. I'm southern Irish and consider myself fully british for many reasons. I love this country and its achievements, I am forever grateful for the opportunity to come here from a few miles over the water and serve in the armed forces proudly with distinction for 23 years. It is heart breaking to see this tide of anti-Britain sweeping through the consciousness of the country. I've had enough of being heart broken, I've actively started putting my opinion out where I work (in the awful NHS) and with those I meet, but mainly through giving my sons the pride of being British.

  2. I came here from Ireland in the mid 90s, not a massive cultural or economic shift for me but I still made all efforts to "integrate" and celebrate the country. I ended up spending 23 years in the armed forces and proudly claim that I love the country and DETEST STRONGLY with what elements have done to it and want to do to it.
