  2. I must agree here, I know nothing of fishing, but common sense tells me that'll we are an island nation with a huge coastline, rich fishing waters and a long history of maritime activity. That should be encouraged to continue and increase.

  3. I've worked in the Armed Forces and have seen first hand what the UN is all about. It's 2 things now despite what it was initially supposed to do: 1. A tax on rich nations 2. A group designed to denigrate the west.

  6. Needs to also stop the net legal stuff. Stopping illegals is fine and dandy but doubling, tripling the legal side is not fixing anything.

  7. The "we" you speak of is just the chattering classes that claim to speak for us. Be it MPs, or Civil Service, or heads of large institutions. Those "We's" need to be cleared out and sent away.

  8. YouGov haha, it's all about who you ask and more importantly how the question is asked. Didn't Zahawi (he of the recent embarrassing tax question) set up YouGov? Sure I read that recently.

Agreed, speaking as an "immigrant" I came to the UK from Ireland in the early 90s, joined the Navy and spent 23 years in it, I have 2 sons that I bring up to be proud of the country I've come to. I work now in the damnable NHS and can't believe what's being allowed to happen to the country. My education in Ireland was very balanced about Britain, sure we learnt of the bad things, but we learnt of the inventions, and ingenuity also, the role in WW2 etc. This is the best country in the world being slowly turned into Mogadishu by importing en masses the waifs and strays of the 3rd world with nothing to offer only their tribalism, poor work ethic, sickly genetic issues, and backward religions.
