  1. The NHS is a great barometer of what's happening in the UK. I work in it and the situation is very apparent. However it's going to get WORSE. My wife lectures new nurse trainees in a large midlands university. She has an intake of about 600 3 times per year. I have literally just seen the register for her most recent intake. At least 75% of the names are recognisably foreign, the vast majority African, middle east, south asian. This is the migration con right now...the universities cannot fill their spaces fast enough with names from the 3rd world. So very few British names. The worst part is these people are bereft of professionalism and compassion as we understand the terms. Lazy, feckless, sickly, morale sponges who I'm sorry to say will be in charge of your care soon!
