It wasnt just a "dishonour" it was the active and strident opposition by them and the likes of the Lib Dems and not even to mention many tories.

Sadly most conservatives in the Tory party have talked themselves out of being conservative

Paul Embery like others, again makes the clarion claim that immigration is a good thing. I half agree with him but I'd say this much...why is immigration from unfriendly, under developed countries to the UK in large numbers a GOOD thing? Why is that? I'd never question sensible immigration from the US, core European countries, or the "west" in general. I dont understand the political desire to import and provide succour to the rest of the world largely unquestioned, let alone stopped by our politicians.

Only until there is enough Mass to create a standalone islamic party. Which I think we will see within 10 years maybe 15. It will be moderate of course, might even have a female leader and a few gays! But it'll show it's true face soon enough. There will be very few votes for the labour party after that.

The labour party is finished, they and the Tories, have between them, destroyed the political landscape of the country by effectively destroying the pride of the country. This was largely achieved blindly and stupidly, kicking the can down the road in pursuit of small minded wins with minorities. Many of these minorities have axes to grind (largely ones based outside living history) and in the last few decades have found wind in their sails. The can gets kicked down the road. The introduction of ideology such as Diversity, Multiculturalism, and intersectionality has done a marvellous job of dividing the nation and splintering political thought. On that point, most might agree, the introduction of these principles has been orchestrated very carefully within the middle ground gap that the main political parties have inadvertently created.
