I doubt Switzerland would condone money laundering without checks in place to counter such activity. They're one of the more credible nations on earth when it comes to integrity, credibility and following ethical/international guidelines. I'm sure there have been exceptions that has slipped through the cracks though.

Effective and streamlined nations. Beautiful. We need more of that. Big fan of the PM, too, Kaja Kallas. Hottie.
5
Gotta live up to the British stereotype :)
5
The Sweden approach has been destructive and inhumane. One of the worst per capita rates in the world. Anyone glorifying the strategy over there is a coldhearted human being that defies science. The country's health institute has behaved in an exceptionally incompetent manner the past 6 months, opposed mask usage, thrashed other successful nations for shutting down their nations, and made false assessments/calculations over and over again. A complete failure.

Feel free to ask away.

This quote doesn't apply in this scenario unless you replace "politicians" with "drug addicts & troublemakers".
5
So what's the solution? War? Suspending sanctions which strengthens DPRK's nuclear arsenal, leverage and position further? It's no easy task to tackle.
5
The Saudi state isn't the threat. They're not using these weapons in malicious manners that jeopardizes global peace just because they're neutralizing the Houthi rebels in Yemen or defending their interests against Iran. The threat consists of their global influence that impacts countries, such as the Saudi Arabia's (private donors & potential ties to the state) contributions to religious indoctrination abroad by supporting radical imams and the creation of unwanted mosques–something that any country could put an end to if they wished to do so.

Wonder how things would look today in Italy if Il Duce's legacy carried on after WWII up until now.
5
Sub-prime loans handed out, low credit being permitted by banks, and investing companies seizing houses after eviction isn't occurring in South Korea as far as I know. These practises were the main culprits that caused the US housing bubble and accordingly the financial crisis.
5
Stability created by clear guidelines and centralization. I'm no fan of Vietnam's way of previously and still occasionally flirting with Communist ideas, but I do have to concede that their strong and authoritarian system where the collective population is highly valued and cared for, worked wonders. Any country, no matter their economic and social policy, should adopt the structures that enables this type of anti-virus strategy.
5
To an extent should people's rights and freedom be respected, yes. But not too much, which is a mistake that the West has done.
5
America still thinks that you mostly can change people's mind by voluntary encouragements.
5
This guy's great. There's some forceful and out of place jokes every now and then, but it's all with good intentions. Topics are covered broadly with factual perspectives. It's interesting to watch it all. He couldn't have chosen better hosts.
5
Don't submit useless statements like that. This video is backed up by several news reports and studies, and a thorough analyses of what's happening. How is it "irrelevant"? Sounds like i'm arguing with a pre schooler, lol.
5
Not really. China would've done this either way without objection. They don't need to take advantage of a crisis to do so. This crisis does however highlight the efficacy in these practises, rather than its contentious connotations.
5
@redwoodpartisan2433 Ignorance, because they believe that the welfare handouts will benefit them and the country, and due to indoctrination. Leftism has spread its poisonous tentacles in way too many places around the world. Its presence seems to gradually deteriorate, but it's still way too potent. Argentina is a decent example. Although I do have to concede that the Argentinian government has at least done their best to handle the coronavirus by enforcing national lockdowns and systems of quarantine. Can't deny that. The effectiveness of doing so is however contested, perhaps due to the restrictions having been imposed too late.
5
Only if you promise to not vote for democrats or socdem parties, as most migrants sadly tends to do for many strange reasons.

Why should he give time to delusional skeptics that aren't looking out for anyone but themselves through the use of theories that no serious person is discussing because they make no actual sense? Even if a deliberate "reset" is occurring to restructure current flaws in our political system, that'd be a good thing. Great, in fact. Something to strive for.
4
If that's true, that makes it even more sad. How can Cubans be satisfied with the current ineffective government and the communist party? Is it ignorance and propaganda that has pushed them to pledge allegiance even though they're poor with few opportunities?
4
Flogging for smoking? Damn, ,that ruler took public health seriously, if we solely look at that policy. The world would be so much cleaner, healthier and prosperous if every country imposed this penalty against unhealthy egoists.
4
Not really. He didn't designate Antifa as terrorists and didn't erase their rioting presence. He responded in a libertarian response to the virus. He didn't bring up the problem with criminals/unqualified voting to steal the election, but invoked fallible explanations as an attempt to overturn the election. Not very effective. I prefer Trump over the alternatives, but he could've done so much better.
4
Have you noticed that almost everyone knows the date and has made the incident on Jan. 6 2021 to a historical day while they don't know the date that the violent riots last year occurred? Riots that lasted for 100 days and caused 100x times the damage and destruction compared with Jan. 6. Not to mention that the Jan. 6 demonstrations actually were defensible since the allegations of fraud weren't investigated and since illegals/criminals voted dem, with no restrictions.
4
That would be very undemocratic and disrespectful of them considering that the Polish population loves this government. Many, including the 'democratically' leaning EU, would be supportive of the cats, though.
4
But you're still a ticking bomb, because you've probably contracted 300+ different diseases from your high-risk and hedonist deviancy.
4
Russia could have a great GDP growth today and be a decently stable place to live if they prioritized important matters rather than escalating tensions, creating conflict, indulging in imperialism and sponsoring socialist states. Lots is going to waste because of their vanity projects and carelessness.
4
Accepting labor migrants through close oversight and by ensuring that they contribute to society has never been a problem, which is why these Gulf states thrives off of it. Europe on the other hand, has focused on a whole other range of migration policy, which has had a huge impact on the continent. There's a reason why these Gulf states has said blatant no to certain forms of migration, and even paying NGOs to avoid doing so.
4
Letting people live in a perverse manner by just handing out prescriptions is like letting a sheep poke itself and its friends in its skin to create widespread damage, and celebrating en masse when a small percentage of the sheep's skin is healed. The BEHAVIOR is what will continue to spread diseases to themselves and others and ought to be stopped. But nobody talks about that, because perverse conduct is defended in the West.
4
Gotta say that I truly admire the way Vietnam has managed to survive and handle this crisis, even if I'm fiercely opposed to many political ideas that they cherish, or used to cherish.

@kalzonenu Did you watch the video at all?

Clinton, that might be one of the few positive outcomes of this pandemic. An increase in remote work, fewer offices/residential buildings demanded by businesses, and improved comfort for both the employer and employee. This will impact the aviation industry, hotels, and transportation/building industries though. Everything has its unexpected or unwanted side-effects.

I knew that people would get used to this host and start to prefer him. Took a while and a whole lot of spam to ignore, but the tone seems to have changed now to the new host's benefit.

moo 😂😂😂

@My_Take Let's not spam self-advertisements in other people's comment sections

If you're looking for people to be angry, perhaps apply to go see a psychiatrist, alternatively visit an anger management facility. That's not healthy. Kamala isn't conservative in any sense of the word, not in the US, not in Europe. You're not a conservative if you support a massive welfare system, criminals, decadence, murdering innocent children, and dismantling order and the traditional nuclear family.
4
@Daniel-ye3tm It's a false characterization. European conservatives doesn't reflect Kamala's views at all, really.
4
I think Macron deserves an award for stamping out jihadist violence and insurgency in the West, by infiltrators from the undeveloped world. For strengthening the France police force, or at least trying. For expelling threats and condemning political islam. For closing down mosques and imams radicalizing the populace. There's lots you can say about Macron, but this year has been a win for him, in terms of his great efforts taken to protect France and Europe.
4
I'm a ring-wing statist/nationalconservative, and I totally agree with these hosts reasoning for their picks. Trump has been a weak leader in many regards and completely messed up the corona response, so he doesn't deserves a trophy, in my opinion. That's not really a biased or leftist view, per se.
4
While Mauritius seems like a promising part of Africa, it's an incredibly small country. Population rate wise, they only represent 0,1% of the African continent's population. A drop in the bucket. Most of Africa is still stuck in recession & regression.
4
Chile and the world needs a Pinochet more than ever. A suspension of his constitution is another alarming sign in Chile, and for the world.
4
That'll lead to only the rich getting into politics. Or the privileged. Give politicians proportional salaries instead. Make sure that politicians are paid for doing their job and penalized for defrauding their people, acting corrupt or presenting treasonous reforms.
4
Glad that I don't have to learn all of these oil sheikh's and middle eastern monarchs' names by heart. Some real tongue twisters.

@bakr6405 What bias?

The type of situation of where regulating away someone's voice for spreading misinformation may be justified ;)

The remnants of Nazi Germany seems to still prevail. Dissidents being discredited and penalized by the state for doing basic investigative work. Shady that even Singapore didn't see any red flags. They're supposed to be one of the more knowledgeable and powerful financial centers in the world.
3
@salsa564 USA isn't really a tax haven. It instead has other benefits/characteristics that attracts investors and rich billionaires even if they have to pay taxes, such as high standards of living, a culture that certain people like, relative safety and a powerful position on the global stage. The more poorer and unknown countries has to attract elsehow, such as by becoming a tax haven.

Africa's rare flower.

WHAT IS WRONG? People keep saying this. Has Magufuli sent out his state-hired agents to spout lies and defend his fallible governance?
3
@m1k4t0r15 I think you have to accept the fact that democracy don't always grant you the desired results. America voted for a quasi-strongman leader who'd put America and its people first by closing the borders, improving the economy and encouraging (for the most part) civilized and law-abiding behavior. That's precisely what they got. Trump has his flaws and should've gone a lot further on many issues, but he did what many of his supporters wished for, contrary to what his critics and the media suggested.
