  1. You can provide crazy perks and benefits, but people will still complain. I’ve worked for 2 of FAANG companies and hear complaints still from some of the most entitled people. Long ago, I did 5 years in a fab and loved the D shift as a line tech. Pay was good and you get 4 days off in a row on every other week since you do 12 hour days. I’ve ran every cvd tool, wafer starts, down to the boat wash. Hell, they were still using run cards at time. If the fabs didn’t shut down, I probably wouldn’t have ever gone back to school for my degree.
