You have the knowledge of the entire human history in your pocket. I don’t buy the whole not able to learn it. It’s a choice. People should succeed and fail based on their effort.

@BirdRaiserE It’s honestly common sense. Spend less than you make, save the rest. Stop trying to get government to “save us”. They’ve done enough damage already.

@BirdRaiserE How do you think it starts? You think everyone just gets millions to invest right away? So silly. Majority of people start small by squirreling away by spending less and investing the difference. Over time, it builds up and compounds on itself. It really is that simple and if you can do that, it’s already a good portion of it. The rest are details and different strategies. Hell, some college professor fit everything a common person need to know about investing on a 3x5 index card. The problem is many people have no patience to build the base and keep adding over long periods for the compounding to work. They wait too late to start saving/investing and contribute almost nothing.
