South Dakota is safe AF. I left for the day with my door wide open accidently and my neighbor walking by checked by asking me through my Ring doorbell if I was okay. Dude even took my Amazon packages inside doorway and locked the door. Just awesome neighbors.

I am starting to think that Nick made this channel so he can sing. The info about places is just a ruse or misdirection.

Population can’t drop because people can’t escape.

Somewhere in Wilmington, legend says, Andy is helping out his mom.
52
Not only that, they need to reopen hospitals for the mentally ill.
20
@billturner8377 Even if you’re a millionaire in CA, you’re still barely middle class.
17
Damn it. The secret is out now! I was hoping to own a condo in Midtown Crossing one day. I am sad that you didn't mention Runza after going through Omaha.
16
@leawalke4479 Small town in the middle of the state. Not a big population. I got sick of living in the Bay Area with a million people just in San Jose.
15
California Dreamin’ turned into a nightmare.
15
@ajgreen868 True. My experience is definitely going to be different than someone who is in Rapid City or Sioux Falls. I picked a much smaller city for the community aspect.
15
Even Camden across the river used to be a nice place. Even with all the renovation and waterfront revival, still a fubar place.
13
@pokemanny6358 Yeah, South Dakota is totally ridden with crime, especially the smaller towns. 😆 Stay where you’re at. I am not convincing you to come.
12
Probably the sewage smell in the summer cuz of the water treatment plant.
9
@colingallagher1443 Which is hilarious because Vegas isn’t that safe either around the convention area.
8
South Dakota or Iowa next! I want to know what you think of those places.
7
@Embiidisthebestplayeritl "yeah it's like, hide yo kids, hide yo wife and hide yo husband too cus they rapin everybody out here..."
7
@jimtalbott2894 Haha. You obviously have never been to Billings. There’s a shooting or drug related crime every other day there.
6
@MichaelSuperbacker It was an accident. Winds blow hard there.
6
@andrewsmith3257 That’s why I bought them some steaks 🤣.
5
What about Lynn’s Dakotamart? Hope you’re going to hit up some of the smaller towns in SD too.
4
It's awesome if you love the outdoors and nice country folks.
4
He used to be the mayor of San Francisco too. Idiots in California still voted against the recall. People who remain in California deserve what they voted for.
3
@martinusv7433 Yeah, they even made a Coen Bros movie about how bad the place is.
3
@TunaFreeDolphinMeat That's garbage noise. Tons of rich democrats don't have your interest at heart at all - in fact, they are screwing everyone over. Trump is only the president, not god emperor. Tons of politicians been in office for many decades screwing you over... but it's all Trump. Give me a break.
3
@JonahRabago None taken. It’s not for everyone for sure.
3
@codygrimes6157 You are welcomed to check the stats in comparison to other states. In many places, SD is pretty safe.
3
@citizenshane8932 How are you forced to live on it?
3
@lanceleckman8911 For sure. When everyone are armed and usually hunts (makes for good marksmanship), people generally think twice before robbing your lot.
3
@operationpopeye9719 A bit of an elitist I see. Make sure you stay where you are so that you can smell your own farts.
2
And other Americans who have some alternative agenda wanting to see the country's demise. It's the US's worst enemy.
2
@itsnick37 Tons of people do that in Alaska. Problem is that after season is over, a lot of those people get displaced.
2
@tonydiploma Middle of SD in one of the smaller towns. Rapid City has its bad parts, but even the bad parts is much better than the bad parts of a large city. Having lived in the East Bay in the Bay Area near Richmond and Oakland, the crime in Rapid City is no comparison. In one month, I had 2 homicides and a suicide within a 2 miles of where I was renting. That’s not even including the burglary, drive by and people getting beat up for no reason.
2
Even their airport code is SUX.
2
@sherryyoung6480 I doubt you’re replying to me considering I put out no content lol.
1
@NickJohnson Hope you can hit up some of the smaller cities in both. Safe travels!
1
@Mercurychyld1 Seems like you made that conclusion all on your own.
1
@2intriguing1 I actually don’t even lock my doors here. Been 2 years and nothing happened still. Nothing to steal anyways.
1
@carryeveryday910 The wind in SD is strong. I didn’t close it all the way and it blew open.
1
@dingerboi4 Then go compare the stats and you’ll still find crime is lower. If anything since there is a smaller population in my area, it’s a bigger sample size.
1
@quiricomazarin476 Around 10k or so.
1
@lizf1353 Actually no. If the sample size is a larger proportion due to smaller pool to draw from, it would be a bigger sample. Meaning it would be more accurately reflected. Go take your chances in Chicago or New York. Good luck finding even a murder in a small town, much less five. That’s not even one weekend in a large city. Once again, I am not convincing people like you to move here. 🤣
1
@Killshot15 I was actually looking at Seward neighborhood before deciding on SD instead. Glad I didn’t move into that mess. Not sure what’s up with Minneapolis, but it’s like they are a wannabe Portland. Considering the condition Portland is in, not the best to to imitate.
1
@KorithStoneheart True that lol. Still nice here if you can stand the cold.
1
@Milkyway109 No, since they actually arrest people for committing crimes here. Hence, the safety.
1
It’s weird because St. Joseph is right next to it and it’s your picturesque, quiet small town. All those frozen lighthouse pics is usually referencing that town.
1
@that1guysneak923 Just go to Chinatown there and you’ll see how ghetto Portland is.
1
Brother B You’ll also find most of the smaller/rural cities in SD have lower crime than the national average if you want the stats.
1
But what does Mappy think?
1
@dbycrash Going on experience I see.
1
@PeeepsiCola Not sure what you meant by that considering reservations exist throughout the entire state.
