  1.  @kingdadu It’s essentially buying yourself a pension. Not sure why people don’t see it that way. For early retirees, it could help you lower the sequence of returns risk in those initial years since the spia or dia still keeps you afloat/refill some of the bucket instead of having to sell off investments in a down market.
