  1.  @stellybrah  true that. Nonsense is still nonsense though. So many of his statements are patently and verifiably false, as I noted in my comment last week. That kind of thing isn't helping anyone understand, it's actually disinforming people bring everyone further away from the full picture if they don't recognize what he's saying is fantasy.

  2. Wow Jared is stooped... He says out loud Israel is a nuclear power. He thinks his plan would've given a million jobs to Gazans when 1.1mln of 2.2mln people are children. He thinks strength is a peace-making approach to diplomacy, as the first "obvious" important factor for peace. Jared says Saudi government killing an American journalist is somehow better than the actions of renegade terrorists. He thinks pulling money from Palestine and watching it flounder economically while dealing with blockades and a terror label on their government had nothing to do with them being unable to do more business with the aid they received. He thinks sanctions and impoverishing Iranians citizens, who are being killed for protesting their own government btw, he thinks hurting Iranians with sanctions worked and was great for peace. All of this within 40 mins. It's incredible how completely disconnected his thoughts are from material reality which can be quantifiably verified and/or referenced to historical outcomes. It's astonishing how much this man actually believes picking a side in a conflict was a wise path to resolution and then calling it "easy" for him to figure out. Just wow. This boy is unbelievably callous, dense, and narcissistic.

  8. I wrote full websites entirely in notepad for 7 years, finally let go and jumped to notepad++ for another 5 years. I only JUST got onto vscode 3 hears ago. Every time I find a new IDE to use as default I'm always glad I did. Even the transitions to sublime, pycharm, emacs etc. It's hilarious how emotional I got every time I moved to a better platform lol you'd think it'd be exciting or relief but it's hella hard to switch environments for some crazy reason.

  11. And yet SCOTUS tries so hard to engineer it out of democracy. Roe, chevron, presidential immunity, nepotism, refusing to denounce racism and then not calling off a violent mob who intended to disrupt democratic processes. Blatantly requesting a Governor defraud the voters, the lawsuits about election fraud without any evidence (no fewer than a dozen of them)... There's nothing genuine about these people. This isn't just typical politics, this is entirely different level of radicalism. The Republican party is aiming for Putin/Xi/Un style dictatorship - its not even a secret, they admit it and pursued it proudly then bragged about it. It is so incredibly insane to pretend this is normal political feuding, this isn't about policy at all. War crimes, poverty, embezzlement, epic levels of corruption from within the world's largest economy. The stakes are very high but tyranny is objectively the GOP pursuit, it is clear as day to anyone who spends an hour or two reading and listening. Biden is not trying to fix any of it, he's trying to game it just like everyone else, just with less dire consequence. The best possible result is still not at all good.

  12. Any theory that so much as mentions the word miracle as an explanation is religion and not science. I loved the discussion but this guy is describing simplicity with complexity without identifying or elucidating on anything tangible. He keeps saying what his theory will eventually unearth, but never describes the path to reason or experiment that gets there. Just that he's hoping to explain miracles somehow with a theory he can't articulate fully lol it's kind of weird he considers his work science and not philosophy (philosophy being another form of science, albeit through abstraction rather than practical matters - pun intended). I think he does more to confuse his audience than enlighten or educate because of his choislce of language and references. Markov kernels for eg doesn't describe the algorithm or process at all. That's like saying "I do complicated math which will explain things because I'm using graph paper instead of ruled sheets"... It's just a process of systematic lambdas over any given domain. It doesn't mean anything by itself but he uses it several times as a description of how he'll arrive at an experiment'result or a proof of some sort but it literally doesn't make sense in the context he uses it. I don't think he even knows what he's talking about when it comes down to the math.

  15. 1:04:01 - no Destiny, people will say they support Hamas because their lives have been ruined by oppression, not because they want to actively submit their children to commit and / or succumb to violent murder over politics. No parent wants that for their kids, but all angry humans will say they support the pain of their oppressors. Like you said 5 mins earlier, you can't look at regional political contention through the lens of American comforts. Watching murder from afar is not the same as volunteering your family to condone guerilla warfare in your home neighborhood. That's insane. Go travel and meet people if you believe humans anywhere on earth are cool with their kids going to war. Even when culture demands a warrior spirit and the parents say the right things, that's a coping mechanism for their sorrow. I can't imagine a human who is true to themselves being truly endorsing sending their kids to war and risking their lives, homes, and futures for racism or politics unless they are a minority of mentally disabled adults. Our genes are not wired to sacrifice our families gleefully. It's just not biologically possible for that to be the case so you're both wrong. War is not inevitable or genuinely condoned by the people of Palestine or Israel, it's manipulated, ignorant, racist and/or malevolent politics that make this terrorism-turned-genocide happen. Words have meanings, looks up the definitions.
