  4. An air canada flight some years ago was grounded because the little metal ashtray mounted in a bathroom door had been removed by persons unknown, just before take off. Ashtrays are considered mandatory safety equipment, and a plane cannot leave the ground without all of them accounted for and in their proper place.

  34. IDF soldiers in Lebanon are refusing to engage; committing suicide and going AWOL, and in larger and larger numbers. IDF has made no progress in southern Lebanon, an impossible ‘ask’, like lambs to the slaughter, and they know it. So they simply refuse orders. Over a million Israelis have already fled the country, heading either to Cyprus or back to their real homes, usually in Poland or Florida. The Israeli tourism industry has collapsed. The Israeli economy is in a free-fall, being downgraded by outside credit agencies. Transnational corporations are taking their investments out of Israel. Internally displaced refugees are being billeted in homes and hotels throughout central Israel at their governments expense, draining government coffers. And now Hezbollah have dropped flyers into northern Israeli villages and towns warning all civilian occupants to get out for their safety, aiming at IDF who have taken up positions using their own people as human shields. Israel as a country is finished.

  35. I am not in that group you described, but I think they support human rights more than they support Hamas. Israel has a long history of human rights abuses toward Palestinians. Gaza is the most densely populated place on earth. It is also the world’s largest open air prison.

  36. Are any still alive? Netanyahu imposed mass starvation on everyone inside of Gaza, including the Israeli hostages. Why would he do that? And why would he want to start a war with Iran? Now that he has lost the war with Hamas he’s going after Palestinian with violent Israeli settlers in the north of Gaza, and looking to start a fight with Iran, just to stay in power and out of prison a few days longer. What a cruel man. Israelis deserve better.
