I know 7 people that lost their jobs because of Brexit, my Mrs being one of them when her company decided to move to the EU due to red tape involved. But you can go on about the 0.008% and see that as a win if it helps you. Pop down to Cornwall and have a word with the fishermen down there or any farmer who’s lost thousands in subsidies. Please don’t go on about “ it’s our money anyway” which is nonsense.

Considering she bought her council house before she became an MP I would have thought others have more to lose than her. ALL MPs should be stopped from the second home nonsense and put up in a central location of they need to stay in London. The money saved could then be spent on looking after our homeless and ex military that need help.

There’s the rub, anyone with an Irish or EU passport or settled status or dual nationality has effectively more rights than a born and bred English person. And also Rob if you continued to pay NI contributions after your state pension age that must mean you are self employed and only pay peanut class 2&4 so please don’t hold out for any sympathy by paying £3.45 a week then as most self employed do lose everything though your accountant so that extra 9% is as little as possible…..

  43.  @PeterPete lots of people over the pensioner age working on the railway still. Appreciate the fact that it’s hard to prove anything in some companies but it’s not everywhere. Personally I wouldn’t want to be working until I’m 65 onwards. You’ve done your bit by then. Enjoy what time you have left.
