@Chris-wyt Easily. Simply look at the people who dominate this organisation. It isn't my duty to spoon feed you.

Something similar happens in Britain. I am having a DNA test at the moment. If I am lucky enough to have a bit of Sub Saharan African in me, it could be a nice little earner in the near future. I need to buy a new helmet before April, following an 'incident' in September of 2023, and it could be of considerable assistance. I must learn to duck. Or bat lower down.

Perhaps he had indeed consulted with his doctors, but between the consultation and the press conference had forgotten what they had said to him?
3
Much as the US & British/Commonwealth referred to the German & Japanese populations in WW2 as rge enemy. With equal justification.
3
@snelgrave101 Boney expressed the idea as 'Never interrupt your enemy when he is in the process of making a mistake.'
3
Perhaps when they commit some?

Please, please! Have Prince William's bestest chum Dame Jacinda Ardern taken back to NZ.

Fact Checking Joe Biden? That must be a full time job for dozens of staff.

Personally, I am looking forward to booking my ticket for the next time England Women play India Women in a Test Match at Old Trafford, just to watch Jennifer Archer & Mary Wood opening the bowling, with Jenny Anderson & Shirley Broad returning to International Cricket as change bowlers. In more ways than one!
2
Even when Mr. Biden's mind still worked, he was a career politician. Isn't 'lying' what these people do?
2
As a foreigner, it seems to me extremely odd that Trump's age should now suddenly be an issue, when up until around two weeks ago, age was not an issue at all. Perhaps you might explain this change to an ignorant Limey?
2
It wouldn't work in Britonistan. Tell those of conscriptable age that they must be willing to put their lives on the line in order to protect those poor lads in the hotels, and see what happens. I suppose we could always arm the lads themselves. I wonder which way their weapons might point, however?
2
Nor did my British ones.
2
The reality is that these leftists have become aware of how much of a tiny (if inordinately influential) minority they are, and are becoming increasing hysterical and irrational as a result.
2
This hasn't crossed the pond well. I doubt that Whoopi knows what a 'working girl' is in a British context.
2
@shemarmoore5292 How, then, do you explain his popularity ratings?
2
@JerryBagus-ul4pj As Spock would have said 'It's English, Jim. But not as we know it.'

Perhaps Bruce Ismay should have tried the same approach in 1912? 'The Titanic isn't sunk until I say she is sunk, and I'm not going to say that.' Biden's carers seems to think this approach might work.
2
@peyofox Wandering around the place telling everyone how wicked the British have always been, and how he, like daddy, really dislikes the native peasantry who fund their unassuming lifestyles, was always something of a clue.
2
“Whom the gods wish to destroy….. they first make mad.” A 17th century version, by Jacques Duport. of a comment first attributed to Euripides. You think you have concerns? Look at Britain, and Sir Keir Starmer, the Dear Leader.
2
@DennisMcCoy-b2r Oh dear. It seems that you are totally unaware that Kaur is one of Markle's team?
2
Only just under one in five actually did. Another triumph for First Past the Post.

There is a similar character in Britain called David Lammy, who also has a Law degree. He is currently the shadow Foreign Secretary, but appeared in a celebrity general knowledge show in which, when asked which monarch succeeded Henry VIII, said, after thinking about it, 'Henry VII.' Some people simply meet certain quotas. It seems that writing their names at the top of the exam paper with only one spelling error guarantees a pass.
2
'Intends?' Does Fred think there is someone on the bridge, steering it?!
2
@shezza2191 'like you said normally.' My reply wasn't to you. You are already confused enough without making things even worse.
2
Normally, an answer bears some relevance to the question asked.
2
@paulveenings6861 It was simply a question.
2
Aren't these English Language experts such a treat when they post on here?
2
If he is re-elected for a second term, will he actually know that he has been re-elected?

@juliansydney9819 'Everyone in the world has staff turnover. How old are you?? If you mean me, and you haven't made it clear, I am a retired Regional Manager who worked in the Logistics Industry since leaving University. I had, at the time of my early retirement, a staff of around thirty office employees and over 100 vehicle crew employees. Staff turnover was higher among the crews, probably around four to six or thereabouts per year. In the office, two per year on average, generally by transfer to other sites, or for career progression. Does that answer your question?
2
@nomahope3182 Obviously you have a credible source? Of course you do.
2
@keithhoss4990 'He was an Apache gunner in Afghanistan.' So were many others, who have not received any awards.
2
@tkAusfrom4492 Supporters of my club team used to tell me that my batting style (leave as much as possible and block everything else) was responsible for the serious reduction in attendance at our matches during my time there. I think (hope) they were being complimentary about my sound defensive technique, but I agree that I would not have excelled at 20/20.
2
@michelebourke4340 Have you ever considered writing your posts in coherent English?
2
'Sociology.' That brings back memories. We used to encounter Sociology students quite often in my days at Manchester. They were generally the ones who needed help finding their lecture rooms.
2
@MatovuJob Quite. Critical comments based on someone's political views are acceptable. Vile personal attacks, particularly on someone who the speaker has never met, are not.
2
@frogsoda Which hasn't answered my initial question.
2
Wasn't Biden's greatest moment commanding the US fleet at the Battle of Midway? Or the US army during the Argonne offensive in 1918? Just like him, I get confused rather easily these days.
2
I wonder if his resignation agreement means that he is given a shiny new Camper Van? Perhaps a caretaker First Minister will be appointed? Nicola Sturgeon?
2
We have come to expect this sort of thing in the UK. You have my sympathies.
2
@lindarowley4972 Expect him to use his standard, all-purpose, answer when things go against him. 'A big boy did it, then ran away.'
2
Ah, but modern slaves produce the cheap clothes and trainers, as well as the smartphones, which these people covet. Far easier to express indignation about something which ended almost 200 years ago than to do anything about modern slavery.
2
You don't consider that Africans were anything other than innocent victims? You believe that slavery was an entirely British phenomenon? The first western ships arrived on the west African coast as explorers/traders. Only the ready supply of slaves made available by tribal leaders and Arab slavers generated the market. Moreover, Arabs and African chieftains had been involved in slavery for at least 1500 years before any westerners arrived. How sad that education has been superseded by indoctrination.
