  1. I think it is an interesting first step regionally, but I want to see how other gulf countries react. Will Bahrain or Kuwait follow suit. Will any of the Gulf countries allow dual citizenship. Highly unlikely with autocratic leadership, but as Kuwait begins to liberalize a bit more than other gulf countries with some moves towards democrscy, I'm interested in seeing if it will view the UAE's actions favorably & if it will work to attract outside investors & business people to transition it's economy to a post petroleum environment as well.
