How is it that Dubai, one of the world's most vital air travel hubs can remain open and be one of the places with the lowest incidence of Covid merely by requiring pre-flight Covid screenings and pre-entry Covid screenings and quarantine, but Australia doesn't have the technology? I mean 186k immigrants to Australia were admitted during the lockdown, but Dubai has had millions of international passengers transit through it and maintained a fairly low rate of Covid. Is the problem that Aussies are as unwilling to take reasonable precautions for their own safety as frat brothers from the University of Alabama on a weekend when there is a game with Florida State, or is it just a power grab?
