biden got a CORRUPT ukranian prosecutor fired. I agree with you. both parties are corrupt as hell. but the GOP is the epitome of corruption. they use every underhanded trick in the book to steal elections and misrepresent themselves and their goals.

@amyjones2490 … I agree. old Ike was the last breath of uncorrupted air from the GOP. some, in both the GOP and dems, use the term asymmetrical to describe the dichotomy of the 2 parties. the reality is both parties are corrupt, with protecting corrupt corporate interests and putting party before ethics. but their corruption is asymmetrical in their election tactics. the dems seem to at least follow the laws, as corrupt as the laws may be, to win elections and honestly presenting their policies while the GOP will resort to any deception, any lie or any underhanded trick to win elections. they misrepresent their true motives, their true goals, they fire-hose issues and rig election results. even the GOP hierarchy have admitted to this deception. they publish papers on implementing these tactics. they seem to think that ANY behavior is acceptable for political purposes. you know who else felt that way? the German Nazi's and Italian fascists. they believed that winning by any means necessary demonstrated cunning and superiority and the right to rule. the GOP are, indeed, modern day fascists in all but name.

@Richard Buse … yes, the DNC did betray both sanders and the democratic process. but turning to a fascist like trump in response was a betrayal of sanders as well. trump represents the absolute opposite of EVERYTHING sanders stood for. trump is the embodiment of corruption, lies, secrecy, elitism and fascism. let me put it to you this way - trump could've supported EVERYTHING I hold dear and I STILL would never vote for that life-long criminal and tv-reality-game show jackass! CHARACTER means as much to me as policy. lastly, trump DID conspire with the russians and obstructed the probe into that crime. Mueller's report PROVED IT! several people now sit in prison for covering for trump. now he's done the EXACT same thing with the ukranians. and these are just some of the crimes he's committed over the last 4 or 5 years! and its documented he's told OVER 12,0000 LIES! just since occupying the white house. trump's a liar, a fraud, a thief and a rapist and he's been so for over 40 YEARS!

YES, trump is a DISTRACTION! but do you think letting him continue to be a distraction and commit his crimes at will is any solution to anything? let's get rid of the distraction - this trump reality show circus! then MAYBE we can start fixing some of these other problems.

@Hashbitnitwit … i'm beginning to think we'd be better off without an executive branch. they seem to only represent the worst of what America has to offer. i think carter and Eisenhower were probably the 2 least corrupt presidents of last 120 years. and if you back to the 19th century the country didn't have any better luck. I've asked on threads many times - please, just once, give me a political choice that doesn't require that i choose between the lesser of 2 evils; the lesser of 2 criminals.

.. sorry, i got side tracked. what i originally wished to say was - it seems these politicians do NOTHING but make excuses for NOT doing what's needed to make this a better country for ALL its citizens. all they seem to want to do is appease the elite and let the rest of us fight over the scraps they throw our way.
