None of those countries are technologically advanced so stop trying to kid your self.

@rasmuswittsell10 What you are saying is that you do not like that he said it rather than him just stating the obvious which is that Russia is a much larger force than Ukraine.
1
Global supply chain restrictions started it all and now it has taken on a life of its own.
1
That is what he has stated in the video due to the variants through mutation occurring. One of the theories back in 2020 was that the virus would mutated to a point that it would be like seasonal flu
1
We are assuming and guessing at this point.
1
@Tyrant_13 This is a classical case of you not listening to what Zeihan is saying. He is saying it is zoological and not engineered. The evidence at this stage points towards zoological but he is not saying it did not come from a lab as it may well have done so. We have no evidence for anything at this point so wild speculation about claims of an engineered virus are really just the plays of entertainment among conspiracy theorists. Maybe they are correct and it is engineered but they are just guessing.
1
You are just making stuff up.
1
It is a myth that the US has the world's highest rates of diabetes. The US has a diabetes screening program that is far more sophisticated than any of the European welfare state programs. Many of the diabetes profiles today simply would have been ignored years ago and have fallen outside the realm of diagnosis.
1
@danpoynton Again you are like others not listening to what he is actually saying. He is saying there is no evidence that it is an engineered virus. Most people that blaming China are not stating that it is an engineered virus. A perfectly natural zoological virus can escape from labs but we do not have any proof of this being the case even though many of us are convinced that is what may have happened. Again people need to listen to what he is actually saying and not imagining what he is saying. If somebody wants to state from a position of authority that it is an engineered virus they need to provide proof and not opinions.
1
America has the perfect mix of culture, politics and natural geography.
1
You are talking nonsense.
1
Science is based on evidence and you can only make a claim when you have the data to back it up. Many people for example claiming it is an engineered virus simply have no proof. There are abuses of data gathering but that does not mean there cannot be clean data analysis carried out.
1
I am not one of those that is convinced of a evolutionary theory of virus adaptation. I think that it is more of a random variable event that has different outcomes. The virus variant that is left standing is the one that just happens to be less lethal rather than it being some specific purpose of the virus. I am also one of those that does not believe in Darwin's theory of evolution either.
1
He is not saying that America should not have immigration. He is saying it is very difficult due to the sheer size of the US border with Mexico to regulated it. I believe a border wall can be built and should be built but not to cover the whole border and just to focus it in certain parts. It is the same problem Europe has in the mediterranean.
1
@tommyt1785 Your assertion that there would be enough to go a round would be true in a genuine market economy. That is not the case though for most of the world that is not a true market economy. Most of the world is a top down authoritarian economic model. There is no innovation or development of market practice. What most of the world does is to use western technology and tools for their own ends. Countries that are genuine market economies like Canada, Western Europe, Japan, Austria, New Zealand and USA it will not be so much of a problem. Most starvation in the world today is due to war not food crop failures.
1
They are mechanical systems that have had very small amounts of money spent on them. Highly unlikely that they have a large volume of them. And most are just sitting in cold storage.
1
The whole radioactive thing about nuclear weapons have been way over played. The real danger with nuclear weapons and their nuclear fallout is based over a few weeks. Nuclear fallout of a power plant is a different animal all together.
1
It depends on how crazy the Chinese become as their culture starts to collapse.
1
They probably have an arsenal that is 1% effective with the majority of that being regionally capable so it would work effectively against China on the battlefield. They probably then have a very limited number that can be used for intercontinental exchange but nowhere near enough to take out the US.
1
It is not that Russia has no nuclear weapons or that they have no systems that work it is a question of Russia have enough nuclear weapons for full intercontinental exchange with the US. It is one thing to fire a nuclear weapon and an entirely different thing to actually win a war with them.
1
Kyle Kulinski is a hardcore leftist that would probably start arguing with something he does not agree with.
1
You need to calm down. He is talking general politics not political ideology or conspiracy.
1
Germany in WW2 did not have the industrial base to conquer Europe, Eurasia, North Africa and British Isles but guess what it did not stop them from trying. Russian Nationalists make no hidden pretence that they want to conquer all of Europe.
1
Better not talk about it without all the details. It could have been criminal activity and then a media and political overreaction or maybe it was attempt of terrorism. For it to be a Coup d'etat it needs an element of the system itself that would carry it out and not a group of terrorists.
1
All the west desires from Russia is that it stays in its lane and does not threaten the west.
1
Germany will not be able to easily buy cheap natural gas for its industrial energy system no matter what deals it tries to cut.
1
Most of them are probably well meaning and just have an opinion on the topic but some of them probably are Russian puppets that have been bought and paid for. Democrats have the same issue but they were mostly purged during the 2016 election hysteria. There are also a proportion of republicans that believe a new conservative world order is coming about with Russia being at the forefront of that because Putin has put the idea in their heads that he is against woke policies when in fact he is just using it to stoke tensions. Nazi's did the same thing pre WW2 but the US tends to be very good as dealing with it in the long term.
1
Germany over the last few decades has not embraced US policy. Post WW2 Germany embraced America style market principles and the UK rejected them and it was Germany that prospered and the UK that declined. Germany for decades has been all for controlled market space through EU management. Which was one of the reasons Germany embraced renewable energy and other insane German policies backed by taxpayers. It is going to cost Germany almost a trillion Euros to build out their renewable energy system that will not provide energy for their needs. All while their policy pushed them into the sphere of Russia. You cannot blame the made up term "neo liberal" when Germany has been doing what it does best which is to blame others for their problems. Problem is there are no jews this time to blame.
1
The main bulk of the party has but there is a small element that are pro Russia for what ever weird reason they have.
1
That is nonsense. The US did not tell Germany to invest its most critical energy structures into Russian economy nor to have no children.
1
@stygian4011 That has no bearing on national energy.
1
Renewable energy at present does not power a whole national grid. That alone should really show you the level of mentality on display.
1
That is the weakness of a multiparty system. There is no singular voice and no singular policy group that can be put into place too let people see what works.
1
How did germany move out of Russian gas?
1
It was never about of disabling Germany and was all about ensuring that war could not be easily started again from Germany. It has worked for 75 years but may now be about to break down. EU did not come into existence until 1993 and German Reunification happened in 1990. You cannot blame the EU for what Germany has done nor can the Jews be blamed this time. Germany always had a history of blaming others for its problems.
1
Your statement does not make any sense.
1
Because Putin him self has stated that they view other countries as part of their empire. You have to take them at their word.
1
Russia wars are not six month jobs and can carry on for decades. They involve lots of death and destruction to the opponents and to Russian people. All Russian men will be forced to serve in that war or face being lined up against a wall. Russia could in theory use nuclear weapons on Ukraine and there would not be much that the west would do about it. Long before that would even come about Russia would just throw several million bodies at Ukraine. Unless Russia collapses politically this is the pathway that will play out.
1
Russia is a brutal state but that may end up still happening.
1
Best case scenario Russia has 18 million military age men from 20 to 40 years of age. But they would be very likely to be able to field that as a professional military force. The US had a professional force of about 16 million in WW2. If WW3 was to start today the US would be able to produce a force of about 40 professional service personal.
1
50 year old men are not capable of being in a professional army as recruits.
1
Nonsense. The US has a far higher degree of willingness to fight. Right now the US has about 1500000 professionally trained troops. Even whiny leftists would actually serve against a foreign force that is threatening the US. The US could easily get a force of 40 million professional troops in a world war.
1
It would be impossible to achieve. To invade America probably is going to take a force off about 40 million and there simply is not enough naval assets in the world that would make that possible. And while that is going on the US probably could get a defensive force of about 100 million with a professional military service personal of about 40 million. It simply is not possible.
1
If they had a free society with a free market they would not need to invest as the market would find its own way to healthcare.
1
Less leathal to the west which has had a combination of natural exposure and vaccination.
1
Xi is trying to secure energy for China. There is nothing new in that. Saudi arabia will still sell to China. The middle east is China main energy source. You want it to be some big deal because you think it will impact America and probably have some nonsense theory about the petrodollar.
1
It is not even close to being 37% of Americans with Obesity. That is just a made up figure that was done on surveys within the health system not the general population. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6111619/
1
The authorities only reacted because the protests were about to cause a civil war in China. Nothing to do with their leadership or local governments.
1
Only a small amount of Americans are obese. The vast majority are not obese and do not fall into that category. Just because people see some obese people out and about and see it on tv does not mean the whole population is like that. There has always been obese people but their numbers have dramatically increased but relative to the greater population they are insignificant. Certain cities hospitals are over run with obese people but it only takes a few hundred obese in a city to do that.
1
If there is lots of shut downs people in the west will know about it.
