  1. Ive never thought these were "ugly". More "awkward looking", like a teenager in that unfortunately gangly stage where everything is disproportionate to everything else, and the kid's brain hasnt caught up to where all the oieces and parts have stretched to yet. There is a lot to ve said for a DAO trugger for a general issue service pistol. I think as a locked breech 9x19mm pistol, it really would have been held in much higher regard (despite the fact that the caliber change would do almost nothing in terms of the pistol's overall effectiveness as a military arm ).
