14:28 "Making the Adriatic sea the Kamchatka's favourite place in the world, as it was a place where she would always be right." I wonder what that conversation would be like... Kamchatka: "Do you see torpedo boats?" Everyone else: "Yes. we heard you the first 100 times!" Kamchaka: "Do you see torpedo boats?" Ghost of Admiral Rozhestvensky: (Rises up and throws another pair of binoculars he'd thrown into the sea early)

See i have a bit of a personal history with U-534, i lived in Birkenhead and when i was a young boy my family drove past the sub and it started my love with history which got me to this channel and i did go and see it after it got cut up and placed next to the docks and it always made me quite sad that the ship ended up in that state and now my favourite youtubers involved with bringing her back, the little boy who saw her all those years ago is happy now.

See these Frogmen just prove the memes about the Italians are wrong and they were very deadly and brave.

212
Vestal: "Right Enterprise, thats you fixed up again, can you please try and not get hit for a bit longer this time?" Enterprise: "No promises." Vestal: "At least try and not fight the whole Japanse Navy yourself this time." Enterprise: "Again no promisies." Vestal (Sighing heavily): "What am i going to do with you?"

She looks a bit like someone lopped of the front two turrets of the Nelson class, but damn does so look good she also looks like she'd fit into a bit of a steampunk universe i love it :)

Those volunteers sound like they went through what the US Navy went through with Congress, with having to do and wanting to do a lot of work but none of the budget to do it, so well done to them for keeping the old girl alive this long.
147
USS Shaw "Is that all you got, this was but a scratch?"
118
Great Drachisim "There is a method to his madness, though madness it remains"

@The 225677th Fragment of the Man-Emperor of Mankind you promise a British ship crew rum if they fix the ship you'll be amazed what can be achieved in record time
81
Boo! have a like but still Boo!

Kind of sad this one wasn't just ten minutes of russian swearing i'm sure admiral Rozhestvensky would have loved that
78
How would the crew of A turret have fired off the famous last salvo, i would have thought the whole gun crew would have been thrown to side of the turret or been slid down to the side of the turret?
76
It says a lot that the Captian of the Sub that sank him came to his defence and his two direct superors objected to the trail and yet the US Navy still set him up.
71
HMS Malta "Sir were surrounded and out numbered five to one." "Then fire in all directions, for it is a even fight."
68
US cruisers: "Do we look like the Bismarck to you?"
67
Cape Matterpan the Royal Navy bringing battleship and a carrier to a cruiser fight
55
57:18 "All hail this random parrot i picked up on a port visit" I often wonder how Rozhestvensky didn't have a mental breakdown to be honest.
54
@Big_E_Soul_Fragment Sadly not soon enough.
52
54:36 Swordfish ignoring physics sounds about right. Honestly this thing is an anime hero at this point and we should just declare it a god.
47
USS Enterpirse captian: "Stop blowing holes in my ship!"
42
Battle of Guadalcanal "Seconds out round three"
40

38
SMS Emden the last great, gentlemanly and occasionally cheeky pirate ship.
36
US Navy: Congress is giving us money, quick spend the cash before they ask for it back
35
Poland proving that though they might been one of the smaller navies in World War Two they can and will punch above their weight to fight just as hard as the major Navies.
34
Which Navy the German Japanese and Italian navies posed the biggest threat for the Allies for the longest time.
32
HMS Berwick to her captian: "Did someone break a mirror?"
31

31
Tanaka: "Release the Long Lance!"
31
Long term series huzzah boys!
28
I have heard a few people call the Bismarck a failure of a design i know she had design flaws but she was able to sink or help sink HMS Hood and heavily damage Prince of Wales plus was taking lot to put on the bottom and she was considered a threat so was she really a failure or was it more she was a good ship build for a nation without the resources to use the good ship?
28
If you worked on the mark 14 torpedo exit stage left now
28
@barbararice6650 The German fleet's mutiny was because the German High Command was sending them to fight the entire Royal Navy, a fight they knew they couldn't win, their entire stratagy in WW1 for the Germans was to avoid this very fight and try and take out chunkcs of the Royal Navy and then fight a weakened Royal Navy because they would lose in a head on fight, Jutland only happened because the Germans fleet didn't know the entire British Fleet was out. And then in 1918 the Germans high command wanted to send them to do as much damage as possible to try and strenghern the Germans hands in negotiation. They were sending the men and ships into a fight they couldn't hope to win or likely survive just to save face (Operation Ten-Go style) thats not a reason to fight or die for.
28
Germans: That ship has plot armour its cheating. Warspite: I don't need plot armour, i am a Queen Elizabeth class.
27
@jbepsilon I did, but Release the Long Lance sounds better than release the Type 93.
26
The worst call to hear at a US Navy admiral "Its Congress here, we need to have a word about your funding, do you really need this much money, we think you need less."
26
You can tell Drach loves efficiency, hes a model of it, he always has a back up video just in case.
25
"Is it ok to see it several different places sir?"
25
So i think Drach's next rantish video will be the laconia incident
25
What would you name the other two ships of your Thunderchild class?
24
38:58 Wow, i thought the Bismarck fan boys were bad but that historian (Not the person asking the question to be clear) takes the cake and table to be honest and i'm now trying to avoid a mental image of him hugging a body pillow of Prinz Eugen. (Take that in anyway you wish to)
23
I would love to see a serise of these videos of what some ships would be like if they had a refit or different refit (Like actually upping the armour on the Kongo's)
