@khankrum1 If we try to appease critics by switching from calling it "Anglo-Saxon" to something else (like "Anglo-Celtic"), in a few years time we will have similar academics telling us that doesn't exist either. Why? Because the motivation of the academics is not accuracy, but to attack the idea that white people are native to Europe, therefore making it easier to promote mass-diversity/mass-immigration.

@laurenceBDontYaNo Plenty, in fact. But I call it as it is. Many of us here have heard all of these arguments before and we know why they are deployed.

You've noticed the asymmetrical nature of this phenomenon: "White" (European) people's identities are subject to an endless barrage of criticism/deconstruction, while non-white identities are taken at face-value treated as sacred by the same people doing the deconstructing.
