  1. We really need laws to deal with the power of NGOs (non-government agencies). They're a massive chunk of the problem in this issue. Billions of dollars are flying around financing social campaigns, often with opaque origins. Democracy is supposed to be one vote of equal value per person. The unrestrained power of money undermines that democratic principle.
