The Harkles do not make fun of themselves and they did not enjoy South Park at all making all sorts of threats and considering legal action. I would not want them as meighbours or fellow passengers on a train or aircraft.

  28.  @rhonda7779  I think Thomas behaved badly but he was probably in a state of shock about the news from the UK and he was short of money. There is another aspect which has of course been hinted at and that is that MM actually arranged for her father to be photographed etc to enable her to cancel his attendance at the wedding .Apparently the staff at the Palace wondered why travel and other arrangements had not been made for the father of the bride . My personal view is that Thomas appears to have been an indulgent father and he has not done anything unforgivable to his daughter so why is he being treated so cruelly.

  30. Henry you are right .As an adult human being you can of course decide that you no longer want to be part of the family if it is making you unhappy. Most people who choose to leave their family throw themselves into a new life with enthusiasm and leave the old life to shrivel and die. What makes H continue to pick over the bones of his former life to the exclusion of anything else and why does he think it continues to be interesting to other people ?

  47. Grills the main issue was the state of the car because a report I have only recently seen suggests it was a combination of at least two vehicles. The car was hired by the Ritz Hotel because the Mercedes it owned would not start. As regards the Driver ( Henri Paul) he was not supposed to work that night and he may have had a glass of wine. It was a nasty accident and only 1 person survived and he was badly injured.

She pretended to be interested in the Countryside and other projects supported by the Prince of Wales and the Mental Health problems she had experienced were never mentioned . She came close to wrecking Charles life with her adulterous behaviour and her lies but he was fortunate that Camilla rescued him from despair . I think Charles and Camilla have actually paid their dues and deserve to be forgiven.
