  2. Putin is scared stiff of being assassinated which is why he has body doubles and so many troops protecting him . Most of the time he is not in Moscow but at one of his other Palaces.

Please remember there is a history of poor behaviour from the Spanish government which is remembered in Gibraltar.

  11. ​ @peter65zzfdfh The U K joined the Common Market and did not really want what turned out to be the E U. It is all very well for Europeans to want to be a European Super State but I do not think the British are keen on the idea .

  23. ​ @redrev674 I think Teresa May tried far too hard to please the Brexiteers and she should have pursued a more sensible / realistic Brexit which would have kept the U K within the Single Market.

Labbettubes Mrs May tried to give some credibility to the Brexiteers when she negotiated a deal with the E U and that was her mistake .Brexit was always going to be a disaster because it was conceived by self serving Politicians who ignored the National Interest while pursuing personal ambitions . Mrs May would have been wise to push Brexit into the long grass by instituting a National Enquiry into the project without a time limit.

  27. Mrs May was not in cahoots with Brussels at all. She pondered to the extremist Brexiteers instead of concentrating on what was necessary to support the British economy. The EU Politicians did not respect her because they could see she was floundering and did not have a decent understanding of reality .

  30.  @harryviking6347  Putin will only accept peace if his face is saved in some way. In my opinion there is nothing to negotiate he has to withdraw from all parts of Ukraine including Crimea ,pay reparations to rebuild Ukraine and pay for the weapons given to the country by Wester

  38. Jane Bishop I think Wallace is fed up with the shopping lists issued by the Ukrainians. He was quite right to point out that the NATO countries are not Amazon and do not hold huge stocks of armaments .
