If women's breasts aren't sexual, why is it literally every time I compliment someone's boobs on instagram, it gets filed as "bullying and harassment" or "adult solicitation." Never happens when I compliment their legs.

@daily_dillusion And men are prohibited from showing our biceps and shoulders in a formal setting, while women are not. Yet nobody in the entire world is protesting this.
35
So then touching a woman's breasts shouldn't be sexual assault and saying "nice boobs" shouldn't be sexual harassment. Nobody in the world genuinely believes male and female breasts are equal. Stop these disingenuous feminist mind games.

An April 2004 poll showed Iraqis thought the invasion was "worth it" by a margin of more than 2 to 1 (61% said "worth it", 28% "not worth it", 9% said they didn't know). Then when sectarian violence kicked into high gear in mid-2006 they changed their tune.

Seeing as the biggest medical issue amongst the poor is obesity, I think we do feed the poor.
11
If they are free to show them, I am free to touch them. Women touch my chest without my permission all the time.

@seljukmamedov4718 I'm sure you do whenever it confirms what your hateful heart wants to believe. But in this case that's irrelevant because the data is from Britons, the vast majority of whom opposed entering the war.

"According to a 2010 assessment by John Sloboda, director of Iraq Body Count, U.S. and Coalition forces had killed at least 22,668 insurgents as well as 13,807 civilians in the Iraq War, with the rest of the civilians killed by insurgents, militias, or terrorists"

@jamesalexander5623 If we only wanted oil, we wouldn't we have just lifted the oil embargo on Iraq that we imposed in the first place.
6
The kind of people you were fighting in Iraq are exactly the kind of people that attacked us on 9/11. According to John Slobada, director of Iraq Body Count, about 88% of civilians in Iraq were killed by "insurgents, militia, and terrorists." If they would murder their own people for being part of the wrong religion/religious sect, what do you think they'd do to Americans? There was an area in Iraq called "The Sunni Triangle" where the insurgency de facto won. Things got so bad, half the insurgents switched sides and started fighting for the US (it was called The Anbar Awakening). The other half stayed behind and would later become ISIS. That's what you were fighting.
6
@TheTomtah You join the military, you get picked up for basic training a few months, basic training lasts 2 and a half months. Then you begin your two year tour. So most people who fought in Iraq in 2003 joined up around 2000 or 2001. So it's not entirely a choice. You can end up fighting a war you knew nothing about when you signed up.
6
Yes, who in their right mind would care about someone saving 25 million lives?
6
Why is touching a woman's breast without her permission called sexual assault? Why is saying to her "nice boobs" sexual harassment? Same reason.
6
@amirardat1068 Stop making up numbers.
6
People getting desensitized to the female body is the problem. Just go to a beach and look at bikinis: those are the ridiculous lengths women are going to stay "interesting" against an increasingly jaded public. This madness needs to end. Does anyone think women would be happier if their entire sexuality were reduced to a tiny gash between their legs which could be covered up with a gummy worm? Of course not.

Studies show most Iraqis thought the invasion was a good thing for the first couple of years. Our only crime was not knowing what was best for their country better than they did.
5
@belhariry Please, even you don't spend 1 second thinking about what the word "occupation" means before you throw it around. The US was in Iraq with the permission of an elected government. You might as well say we are occupying Germany right now.
4
@fcarter3863 Umm, no, we call insurgents insurgents.
4
If the US only cared about oil, when did we impose an oil embargo on Saddam in the first place?
4
@worsethanjoerogan8061 Not to mention we still have to buy it. The US military doesn't handle resource extraction.
4
An April 2004 poll showed Iraqis thought the invasion was "worth it" by a margin of more than 2 to 1 (61% said "worth it", 28% "not worth it", 9% said they didn't know). Then when sectarian violence kicked into high gear in mid-2006 they changed their tune. Never forget, our crime was assuming we didn't know better than the Iraqis what was best for Iraq.
4
No one in the world believes male and female breasts are equal. When a woman touches my chest, its like touching my shoulder. When I touch a woman's chest, its a high crime. When someone says "nice pecs" its a compliment. When someone says "nice boobs" its sexual harassment. And you have no problem with their of these "inequalities." Why don't you stop playing dumb?
3
@admiralfrancis8424 If saving 25 million lives isn't worth anything, what good could a politician ever do that's worth anything to you?
3
The left gorges itself on hate. Watching them react to this is like watching a vampire react to sunlight.
3
You made the perfectly reasonable assumption the Afghans would be better off without the Taliban. Nothing wrong with that. 80% of civilians in the Afghan War were killed by the Taliban. You were there to protect them.
3
If they didn't juxtapose them people like you would simply be screaming "BUT OMG WAR CRIMINAL!!!" in the comments. What you really want is for them just never to mention PEPFAR at all.
3
People wonder why the world is such a mess, why people just sit back and let things like the Rwanda Genocide happen. These comments perfectly show why. If you're a leader, you know your good deeds will count for nothing, and your crimes will count for everything. Isn't it the most rational selfish decision to simply hunker down and do nothing? After all, if you do what you think are 100 good deeds, and the world perceives 1 as criminal, aren't you in a worse place than the leader who did 0, good or bad? Think about the perverse incentives you create before you complain about the way the world acts.
3
liberals: 13 an hour iz starvashun wage!!!!!!!!1111
3
There are 15 year olds on both sides of every political issue.
3
This is why being a politician sucks. If you're only remembered for the bad, the best you can come out is neutral. You wonder why other countries hunker down and let the world burn. It's because your successes will be instantly forgotten and your mistakes will haunt you forever.
3
Balls only exist to make babies and nothing more, so why are they considered sexual?
2
No, it's not even remotely equivalent to that and I find it very hard to believe you don't already realize that. We're talking about 25 million lives here. Stop pretending the magnitude of the good doesn't matter. If I rob a bank and then save someone's daughter from a burning building, that's very different than if I rob a bank and then share my curly fries with someone.
2
@belhariry What did Putin do that's parrallel to PEPFAR.
2
@bilalrahman2786 Gallup, the same people who found 90%+ of Crimeans supported Russia annexing them. But of course you dismiss anything that doesn't sate your appetite for hate as having a pro-American bias.
2
Then people like you would be in the comments crying "BUT OMG WAR CRIMINAL!!!!111"
2
If leaders are only judged for their crimes, every leader: Lincoln, FDR, Winston Churchill, Barack Obama, etc. is a terrible person. It's funny how, despite the fact that Bush saved more lives than his mistakes cost, you decide to consider talking about PEPFAR like talking about the good Hitler did, rather than saying talking about Iraq is like talking about the bad things Churchill did. How wonderfully illogical.
2
Thank you for your kind and honest words Mr. Alhasan. In a world that gorges itself on fashionable hatreds, it can be difficult to stand up for love.
2
Except you don't have shred of evidence Hitler's anti-smoking campaign saved millions of lives.
2
Afghanistan's population doubled during the twenty years of America's "occupation." 80% of civilians in the Afghan War were killed by the Taliban according to the UN. Never forget that.
2
@harukrentz435 They made Abu Griabh a front page story for 44 days in a row.
2
The left lives to hate. Comment sections like these remind me why I'm a Republican. They drink hate like water. Rage, cynicism, bitterness, etc. is the very essence of their existence.
2
@MikeHunt-lx6kl Why is it weird if boobs aren't sexual? If I said "nice biceps" no one would care.
2
If Trump tried to get reparations from North Africa for the millions of whites enslaved by the Barbary Pirates and the billions in merchandise they stole you'd chew off your own lips trying to find words hateful enough to throw at him. Slavery was horrible, but America can't let pity outweigh our values and give in to collectivism.
2
40 acres and mule was only supposed apply to freed slaves, not the descendants of freed slaves. No one back then was even willing to consider the insanity of looking back 6 generations into someone genealogy to see what someone deserves in life.
2
"It's not like a good act eradicates an act of evil" This perverse moral paradox is why most people prefer to just sit back and let the world burn. After all, if you do 99 heroics and 1 crime, the world will hate you more than the guy who does 0 and 0.
2
It's hard to believe we live in a world where overthrowing the most brutal dictator of the 21st century makes you the most evil being to walk the planet, but saving 25 million lives counts for nothing. When someone says liberalism, I imagine a human heart: it's flesh blackened with decay, covered in sores, crawling with maggots, but still beating. You live to hate.
2
@antlerisnotabrahminskull Second most after Kim Jung Il, maybe. According to Human Rights Watch Saddam disappeared 10,000 people a year.
2
Hitler would have had to save about a billion lives for those headlines to be comparable. Stop with these disingenuous comparisons.
2
The left: Black Lives Matter! Also the left: How dare you concern yourself with 25 million Black lives!
2
@MrCraigtastic Judging Bush for 9/11 is like judging Thomas Sowell for being a former Marxist. After 9/11 Bush made major changes to his national security policies which made people like you call him a Nazi and a fascist and an imperialist.
