  1. We are all individuals (reference intended) until we aggregate into a mass. Individuals are hard (that does not mean impossible) to predict, but masses are much simpler. It's like in physics, where it's much easier to simulate the behavior of a universe than what a particle will do. In fact, we can't predict the latter. Only what a lot of particles will do. However, we can predict that last thing more accurately than any other thing in all of science.
