Soviets were dominating the Americans in technology and production.
3
Completely false, an S400 literally destroyed a Ukrainian MIG 29 from 200 KM away.
3
@lolmao500 Yeah but they are just infantry, they arent well trained, only body armor with m16 and grenades. They are to be used in massed attack in times of war. So basically cannon fodder.
3
@investor_mazi Nah, Western country's economy would take a hit, while Soviet economy would have no problem producing thousands of tanks.
3
@LuisPereira-bn8jq False, Ukraine has a far worse supply problems.
3
Where is your outrage of US invasion of Iraq that killed 1 million Iraqis? Or the 20k civilians killed by Ukraine in Donbass? If you want civilians to stop dying then tell your beloved clown zelensky to surrender and save lives...
3
Yes and ukraines airforce is nonexistent
3
Or both.
3
@istillusezune82 Extremely ignorant of you. The West has always underestimated Soviet tanks throughout the cold war until in the early 80s where the CIA said that a Soviet army would crush NATO due to their slight qualitative advantage and huge quantitative advantage. Not even that, the Soviets had 15x the artillery than NATO, and their artillery are more advanced than NATO, so not even tanks, but Soviet artillery would be enough to obliterate NATO armies. Russian tanks won most tank duels against Ukraine, and they get hit by artillery, not ATGMs like early on, they get ambush by Ukrainian ATGMs, has nothing to do with Russian thermals. And just because Ukrainian propaganda says Russian tanks have no thermals means you are going to believe them?
3
Russia will soon be sending thier spetsnaz and high tech tanks to lead a knockout punch on Ukraine. Eussia only sent in 70k regular soldiers and conscripts into Ukraine to cripple their army so they dont have to waste their good soldiers and high tech on an impoverished country like Ukraine.
3
No.
3
This is exactly what hitler thought after winter war...
3
20:07 the Soviets never attacked in battle of Kursk. They suffered 2.6x the casualties despite defending.
3
Support Turkey, death to Saudi Arabia. From Yemen.
3
🤡🤡🤡
2
Russian high command knows better than you. If Ukraine can supply 500k men, Then Russia can also.
2
You're right, but remember Surovikin is an air force general and he is super competent.
2
Or maybe they werent planning to do that.
2
@rudellius What if Iraq had the same army like Ukraine today and gets foriegn support from many other nations, USA would still win in Iraq just with probably 10-20k deaths.
2
@NeuroScientician 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡
2
@izak5356 Because he is a NATO shill
2
stfu...
2
Not really, any tanks are really helpful if your enemy doesnt have an airforce.
2
Finally, someone said it, air forces in general are obsolete. You can replace "air support" with drone-guided artillery and MLRS which will provide much more devastating attack than an airstrike would whilst being 100x cheaper and risk. You can carry out strategic bombing using precision missiles. Tanks supported by artillery and troops is definitely usable, but what would be a game-changer is if tanks are equipped with effective APS (and also mine-detectors) which will significantly increase the effectiveness and survival of tanks. Strength comes in numbers, tanks of ww2 were much more vulnerable than modern tanks, which is what many people forget. It's just that countries aren't producing so many tanks today as they were during ww2 because THERE IS NO WAR (except for Russia).

Man, Russian air defenses would shoot down most of Ukrainian rocket fire towards critical infrastructure. Short range air defenses such as Pantsirs have a 90% success rate in shooting down HIMARS rockets, its why Ukraine has given up in trying to shoot towards strategic targets far behind the frontlines and are now using HIMARS as battlefield weapons which are ineffective.
2
My man supports white supremacists in Ukraine...
2
@F_a_s_c_i_n_a_t_o_r Than that's just pure theft...
2
@F_a_s_c_i_n_a_t_o_r then USA should pay trillions to Iraq and Ukraine should pay tens of billions for donbas...
2
But whatever you are talking about, can go both ways, Russia has superior counter-battery radar to destroy Ukrainian artillery and they also have lancets which destroyed a large number of Ukrainian howitzers.
2
They cause far more damage to Ukrainian army than when they are shot down and crew survives.
2
@yulp1 Ukraine doesnt have any farmers, only nazis.
2
USA ran out of weapons.
2
You mean 1 million russians?
2
Didn't a mig 29 got shot down by an s400 200 KM away?
2
@tetispinkman9135 Oryx is unreliable.
2
Maybe in 2052.
2
@KainWT Yeah but Ukraine has suffered 30k casualties and 15k dead. Their conscripts are ill experienced and are not combat ready.
2
@KainWT "I assure you the Russians have suffered far more military casualties than has Ukraine" 😂 Source: trust me bro
2
Wouldnt Soviet air defense suppress NATO air force and use the SU 25 frogfoots as CAS?
2
@kekkoinen Yes it can, something called Kalashnikov and Russian military industrial complexes.
2
The US would immediately use tactical nukes...
2
@bloq6758 Canada is a puppet of USA.
2
@u2beuser714 Well if it was land war only (no airforce) Iraq and USA would have similar casualties and USA would quickly run out of supplies before driving Iraq out of Kuwait. But US air power was literally 95% of Iraqi casualties...
2
Lol, american overconfidence like germans.
2
@Oskatat V Jesus Christ, I was talking about the Soviet military/Warsaw Pact forces during the cold war, not modern day Russia, completely different entities... The Soviet military had much superior firepower than NATO, and their air force was highly trained and just as big, but with superior missiles. They probably wouldn't have gotten air superiority, but they for sure hell would have given air denial, prevent NATO from ever gaining air superiority. All this whilst Warsaw Pact tanks and artillery decimated NATO on the ground. Even the CIA said that the only way to stop a Warsaw Pact offensive was to use nukes.
2
@wezxoo_4071 The Russian crew destroyed it to prevent capture after it was demobilized by like a dozen javelins.
2
Not really lol. Modern tanks can wreck other countries.
2
@discipleofdagon8195 Yeah but Manpads cannot shoot higher than 10k feet, while Russia bombs targets above 15k feet. And plus Ukrainians have no experience using such weapons.
2
Ukraine suffered more deaths than Russia.
2
@MosoKaiser Lol, the date of his account is nothing of your concern.
