Nicely done! Valve covers look awesome! Looking forward to more.πβππΊπΈ

First of all, what a beautiful Lexus. Second, pretty bad that the owner knew more than the garages. Third, another great job AMD, & thanks for explaining multimeter & how to diagnose. You are so correct on the state of charge of battery. I always test & boost or charge a NEW battery before I install it to get it off to a good start. ππΌ

It IS a cool 4Runner! And ur always SO courteous,as usual. Sleeping in the back, I see ppl doing it in Prii now. Yes, he's tough om his truck, but well maintained! π great video!
7
I did EXACTLY that matt. Except I paid to have mine fluid filmed. I took the panels off myself before going there so no short cuts (plus aftr getting it sprayed, I installed a cat shield, THEN reinstalled panels.π
7
AMD from car care nut he's my favorite! He speaks the gospel for strictly toyotas. U can ask him anything & he gets back to u! And he SHOWS u. Good luck with ur Toyota! ππΊπΈ

β@johnsradios484 I'm 71, I still do my own work but don't know how much longer. I hate this because I'm so anal about my car. No mechanic will let my oil drain as long as I do. My oil stays so much cleaner. I don't expect them to do as I do.
7
Thanks, rust belt makes our jobs alot harder too.
7
We're going to make a happy little turbo work. π¨π
7
β@aden3113 I have it/works for me. No spare in my '19 Prius, but all my OTHER Toyotas HAD a spare AND I NEVER USED THEM. I have what Toyota gives us, but I have my own plug patch/inflator. I will NEVER use green slime.
7
I'm 70 & I've GOT to learn 2AZ FE, ABC's. I had a 97, be damned if I know what THAT was. I know my 4x4 80 pick up was a 20R? ππ€£ Now u talk 265, 283,307,327, 396,427 cu in & u speak MY lingo.π€ Went Japanese for 40yrs & never went backπ
7
AMEN BROTHER!!! I remember when old timers say "when I was your age". I've always had good work ethics. Lost my good paying jobs I had. And never the same since. Life seemed alot simplier. Back then, ppl enjoyed their jobs, not today.πΊπΈ
7
I totally agree frm a 2019 Limited!! I've gotten 70mpgs but REALLY cheating. π
7
Yes, ppl like us really get addicted to our old cars. I had a used 97 camry w/265,000 miles & I KNEW that car! Every part I changed, etc. I TOO, love my 2019 prius limited. I almost regretted I didnt GET the Prime.π₯. I love the look, lites, LED fogs/tail lites. I WISHED they'd come with 17" wheels. I know, no economical, but would be the icing on the cake to me! Good luck with urs!π
7
Β @ParZIVal19DΒ πππ€£π€£ It took me a WHILE to get outta that habit! Thank GOD for warnings.ππ

All over the WORLD my friend.
6
Great analysis, AMD. My 97 Camry puts this to shame & IT was a rust belt car. My engine compartment lookd like new also. Sad, this can all be avoided. I dont even TRUST anyone to change my oil.
6
Thank u Armando! Very nice car! I dont have this engine OR car, but jst love Toyotas! Great job as usual Ahmed! I love learning! π
6
Another of your great videos. Because of you, I clean or replace my filter regularly (not very dirty). I wished Toyota had put a "nut" on the center of the "squirrel cage" fan so we could remove & clean. I wished you would do a video on nickle medal hydride, lithium, & the new sodium ion. And installing a lithium in the older or cars that hadn't come with them. π
6
AMEN! My brother! Ur speakn the gospel as usual. It's an investment when u maintain ur car. And thank u about the trim levels. U always enlighten us, thanks again!
6
I wished I could, living in the rust belt.π
6
WOW! Your shop is packed! Yes, I'm always interested in what u guys are doing. I'm interested in what goes w/the 85 Camry. I had same hard starting 86. I loved that car. Bought it w/a bad engine, got a used one w/same problem as 85. Engine was SO carboned up, was soaking up fuel making it hard to start. My garage ran cleaner thru it & helped. π
6
Ur a good/understanding boss. Another happy Sunday for u! Shop looks great! π
6
Hi AMD. I remember ur older video on fake spin on Toyota oil filters. It should be against the law FOR THIS REASON. I get mine at the dealer thanks to u. π So my car can live long & prosper.ππ€
6
ANOTHER great video AMD. I REALLY like the look of the new ones. I dont need a van but love it in red & love the black letters/black wheels & tail lites. I think u can own a hybrid & still look cool/sporty! π I also watched ur filter video. I'd never know 2 filters! I learn alot from u!
6
I'm a previous man from several unions. I thank YOU sir for keeping workers safe!πΊπΈ π

AMEN!!! I was just coming home & TWO Teslas passed me. Not seeing too many newer gen4's like mine. I bet w/prices, more will sell. VERY informative video, as usual. I SEE how Europe drives smaller cars, how their gasoline prices are always higher than ours, MADE me choose my prius. I pumped gas when the US had the shortage. Even wrkd when it was 27cents a gallon! I would have purchased a hybrid Camry or RAV4. I WANTED better MPG. Yes, I sacrificed room but it's an individual choice. ANY Toyota hybrid rocks!!! Sorry Musk.π
5
Β @henryhonda8408Β I totally agree, & I could care less also. I've had Teslas try n race me/ cut in front of me. They HATE Toyota hybrids, especially PRII. I jst chug by gas stations in my low maintenance Toyota.π
5
Β @atticstatticΒ That's true, but it's all the safety sensors & parts to repair them. Let alone labor.
5
Wow! Once again, GREAT advice! I won't store my car but wont drive it NEAR as much & mine sits outside.. I wondered what I should do being a hybrid. And ur analogy of charging a battery is spot on!
5
This is WHY we're "Car Care Nuts" family. Take care of it, & run it until the wheels fall off! πβππΊπΈ
5
He got a haircut! π
5
Yeah, I got a kick out of it. His one video states how arrogant Tesla ppl ARE! I thought I died & went to heaven!! βππΊπΈ
5
That customer will really appreciate the job u did. It'll feel like a new car! Now, dumb question: Where do u u buy your clips from? Toyota? How many different sizes? Can we buy bags of them? I see they do on Amazon but never coΕrect. Thanks!π
5
97's rock! I bought mine used was 21yrs old/265,000 miles. Rusted out.π’
5
YES!! Once again, I AGREE! My 97 Camry was the same color! I unfortunately got mine used 7yrs old. Brake, fuel lines backing plates rusted out. Foam door seal drivers side ripped. I drove it daily, was a GREAT car!!! 4cyl in mine. Love/miss it!! I parked it anywhere! I have some nice 16" wheels for sale to replace those 14's. π And YES! Rear crossmember/ fuel filler tube!!! This owner should Super Shield or Fluid Film all that rust!!!! π€
5
Thank u AMD! U are SO interesting! Planning the heads/block on VVTI's makes sense. And that piston wobble? Geeze, I'd be the one who replaces rings! Too old to do work like that, but SO INTERESTING!! Thanks for all the tidbits u inform us with. ππππΊπΈ
5
Very nice "Taco"! I favor those over Tundras, sorry. I used to own an 81 SR5 4x4. I really enjoy seeing other CCN vehicles so taken care of. Thanks again.π
5
U are awesome. When I had my 86 Camry, I went to my garage & with mine 4cyl hard start. If I parked o n a hill pointing up, it was hard to start, like starving fuel. If garage had problem diagnosing, he would ask or send car down to a Japanese gentleman down the road who knew Toyotas inside out (like u). Now the torch is handed to my garage & they perform in excellence. That ES is immaculate. LOOK AT THAT HOOD! NO CHIPS!!!! Glad u found problem!! π
5
Once again AMD, WELL SAID!!! U always speak the gospel. Thank u! π
5
That poor Camry. I have a soft spot for Camry's. I owned a used 86 & 97 Camry. With all those leaves in the cowl, I thought for SURE mice ate the wires. Now, can u pick up a used computer from a junk yard? I hope they read this, get some Mother's Aluminum polish to clean cataracts from headlights.π Good luck with your repair! πππΊπΈ
5
Have no desire for a Mercedes bc I'm too damn old & too damn poor.ππ€£ Now sayn that, REALLY NICE CAR!! U DESERVE IT!!! Ppl say most mechanics cars are neglected. KNEW urs wouldn't be. My '19 prius is 3yrs old & I took my brakes apart, cleaned & lubed them bc we live in the rust belt. Take care of ur car/truck & it takes care of YOU!!! How's it go in the snow? U are such a cool guy! Good for YOU!!
5
Great advice/ video as usual!π
5
Lake RULES! πβοΈππΊπΈ

Live in PA here, & Im no π’ turtle but ppl DO hate Prii (plural Prius). NOW, ppl HATE that car companies are gettn us on electric! TONS, of angry ppl!! I was in the right lane, stopped at a red lite, last winter, a dodge ram diesel stopped his truck where his exhaust was RIGHT NEXT to my driver's window. When he too off, he left a big plume of black smoke. My window was up so no problem. ALSO TESLA owners hate us. I laugh all the way past gas stations/car repairs.ππ€£π Jst stay in the right lane, & u DO have to keep up with traffic if its busy. When its NOT busy, U OWN THE ROAD!π
5
I thought it was wrecked, hood/passenger fender different color.
5
He's a class act! π
5
I love the look of the prime. Im sorry AMD, I'm partial to Toyota too! Have/had no desire for a Tesla & I dont compare. Do u ever rest?ππ€£π Please dont stop. Looking forward to RAV4 Prime.
5
Positive Temperature Coefficient. Basically a ceramic heater. π€<my studious face. I can not tell a lie, I googled it. ππ€£
5
I always had blue cars, but I DO like it on this. But RED SEATS??π€’ I body white, black, silver, or red, yes. I too, like the fins on the tail lites, love all the body shapes. π I like having a sporty hybrid. Just because we're nerds, don't have to LOOK it.π€
5
Yes!!! Good call on leaves on paint!! π
