  9. If wishes were horses...etc There was a time long ago I was seriouly looking at joining, went to a number of meeting. What I didn't see was discussions on who was the most electable and how can we get them elected.....saw a lot of I'm Holier Than Thou, but not a lot of how can we win this election.

  15.  @robertpace901  Yes...And? Once again I give you my 3 small simple questions 1. What Do You Want? 2. How Do You Get It? (and Most Importantly) 3. THEN WHAT HAPPENS? Before you so blithely speak of getting out, you really need to think (deeply) about that 3rd question. In the last (say) 60 years the world has become a small interconnected place...and getting more so every day.

I Actually Read The Damn Stuff....specializing in the Early Medieval (my 1st love). So I have a tendency to take s longer view of events. 2. Ever since THAT DAY 9-11-01 I have done a deep drive into the who..what..where..why..how of Islamic terrorism, and that means studying the middle east. While I haven't read/studied Everything on it, I've read/studied A LOT Laft-Center-Right. Yes I am a Neo-Conservative, by that I mean the world is a better, safer place place with a forward leaning aggressive American foreign policy. Someone IS going to be the dominate power in the world. I think it should be America. Because if it isn't us, then the world is a much different place...and probably not in a good way.

And 60 Million people died in 6 years. Give I ran across an article by Jeane Kirkpatrick in 79, and since that time I've seen much to make me renounce my (Evil) Neo-Con position, I;d say the chance of me leaving are somewhere around Slim to None...with the smart money betting on None.
