  10. I think its because they're physically connected. We have internet cables on the ocean floor sure but I'm on my phone now connected to the internet but nothing is directly connected to my phone. We can't just send power though the air realistically speaking

  15. Intelligence can be kinda hard to measure. For example, my roommate is really good at school but lacks some common sense and almost burned down our apartment a handful of times where as I am the opposite. I struggle with tests but I know a lot of things that you should know

  16. My only concern with this is theres no talk about the negatives behind it. Everything has a negative impact and when it comes to renewal energy its just glanced over and instead talked up like its a new super technology. Does solar or wind produce green house gasses? Not on their own but in the process of gathering the resources it sure does. Chopping forests and destroying ecosystems to put up solar fields sure isn't saving the planet. During the night or calm wind free days, how willwe have power? Batteries? Oh boy the destruction those cause. Old wind turbine blades? What do we do with them? They're just going into landfills. Fusion and fission are our only hope and while fusion isn't there yet, we are getting there

  22. Unfortunately for us, some of these ideas should have been temporary because it's just hurting us more 90 years later. Social security is just a big pit of money than many people won't even be able to get anything from because of how much medicine costs and the life expectancy has been increasing. We're soon going to have a generation paying everything and getting nothing because of it. Also nationwide minimal wage is going to continue causing more and more inflation where in another 20 years it'll be "raise minimum wage again" with no solution. Minimum wage should be based on the state level since $15 an hour in California is a lot different than $15 in Wyoming

  23. Honestly trying to help Africa out cant be done without mass reform which would rival WWII. A great leader gets elected and assassinated. But its not just government but also self destructive acts of citizens too. War lords in the congo, South Africa kicking out a majority of their farmers because of race, Hutu vs Tutsi war, etc

  27.  @someguy2135  yeah instead of raising animals because they fart and cause air pollution, lets just grow crops and all of the run off carrying chemicals from the fertilizer will get into the water supply, killing fish, coral, and other sea life. But at least we aren't eating them. Yes run off water carrying fertilizer is a real issue today that would only get worse

  28.  @someguy2135  if you read the article, its still from plants and if we stop feeding the animals all the food we grow and instead feed ourselves, it won't really change. We're not going to eat just corn and soy so we'll need to plant more plants all over the country because oranges cant grow in the northern states and pumpkins don't grow in southern states. So we'll have to expand farmland out more to have a more diverse plant selection. But we'll still need to feed the animals. No point in making them go extinct

  29.  @someguy2135  we still aren't going to live off of soy and corn. While most soy and corn are used for animals, that doesn't really matter because I'm not going to eat soy and corn every day. No one is. You will have to spread out farmland because again some crops only grow in certain climates. So now you're spreading the pollution from the fertilizer around the country. Corn and soy can travel down the Mississippi river but what about the fertilizer and pesticides for the strawberries and blueberries? What river or stream will they travel down? They will have to be increased if we are only eating plants so the pollution in the Pacific from Californias crops is going to increase because of the increase in crops being made

  32.  @einsteinboricua  if someone waters their grass or washes their car, its not wasted. Its used and put back into the environment, especially watering grass. Its being used and can still be collected later like car washes have drains or if you wash your car on a driveway you can let it evaporate. Might be wasted when comparing it to drinking but it's still being used and the water cycle will continue

  36. Human greed is the major cause. People want minimum wage higher but they don't think that businesses and corporations wont raise prices. A work place with 10 workers making $10/hr would lose over $100k per year if the pay was raised to $15/hr. That's not going to go unnoticed and prices of what the business provides will increase. In theory, the trickle down policy doesn't sound bad but greed has ruined it

Person who posted the report said it was bad and people couldn't prove them wrong, but they also couldn't prove them right either. I could have a hundred accounts saying I'm a multi millionaire but can you prove I'm not? The other accounts say I am so it must be true. Thats how it started. If you're going to eat nothing but plant based "meat" you're going to lose a lot of vital nutrients that plants cant give you. Theres reasons you see skinny vegans/ vegetarians and not ones that look like they can lift 50lbs with both hands

An artist can say he used red because he was angry all he wants but if people say he used red because they painted an apple and apples are usually red, all the artist did was show they know what color an apple is. Take any sort of art class and you'll see only the snob artists and art critics tell you how you should feel when you look at art. If you see it as something beautiful then congrats it looks beautiful in your eyes and thats what the artist accomplished. But if the artist was trying to show you ugliness and you saw only beauty, its not good art
