for sure Russia in desperation will attempt to use the heavy hammer of it´s military instead of the the milder hammer it has thus wielded but in doing so only makes things worse for them, remember the whole point of this invasion was to ´´free ukraine´´ from it´s ´´nazi´´ government when Russia commits open warcrimes for all to see and soldiers die by the truckload at some point high command is just going to give up or consider commiting a coup against Putin, remember the sanctions hurt everyone and people in Russia already are protesting, let alone in a few weeks. Now to be clear, I don´t expect some populist people´s revolt to suddenly oust Putin, what I do expect is people in his inner circle to wonder ´´is this Putin guy really that great of a leader right now?'' and consider their options, things are going to get a lot more nasty before they get better. In the meantime I would love to see more weapon shipments to Ukraine from the west, while it's significant, at the current rate I think Ukraine's biggest problem won't be the Russians but food, energy and weapons.
