  1. There were small variations in parts between Winchester, Eddystone and Remington made P-14s. So armourers had to know which guns they were dealing with. All the P-14 snipers were Winchesters.

  2. The P-14 is essentially a three-lug Mauser rifle. The main difference is that it cocks on close, rather than opening.

  3. Because the tooling to make P-14s was gone. And the No.4 Mk.1(T) rifle was as good as the P-14T (No.3 Mk.1(T).
